10 Things I Noticed against Arsenal

Someone was paying attention!

1) I know we won, as a matter of fact I knew we were going to win but to be very honest I didn't think it would be that way, I noticed it looked so easy that when we scored I knew we were going to score again and I didn't see any threat until the presence of Ozil altered that.

2) Bertrand should be way more than just a back up for Ashley Cole, (I will talk about this in a different article)

3) The Mikel and Essien combo looked very good, one might be old and the other has so many flaws about his game but together they seem made for each other and I think Essien deserves more game time because he has only played one game before yesterday and even though he didn't look so good it was clear he was match rusty and I think he will come handy to win some midfield battles and to increase his re-sale value.

4) Eto'o has an extra-ordinary cohesion with the midfield especially for someone who has been here for less than 3 months

5) Our two full backs deserve way more game time than they are getting, whether the reasons are due to tactics, or form or how they are training they need way more game time

6)The fans were amazing , at some point I was actually was not sure if we were at the Emirates or the Bridge as the 9000 fans who were there literally out sang all the Arsenal fans in the stadium

7) The way we played against that Arsenal team that was on a run for so long beating everyone and with the way we played against them at their home, it is either we are extremely good and better than we thing or Arsenal is over-rated

8) Our 'second ' team is too good to be a second team , now I know depth is good and all but I feel like it would be wiser to let some people go and maybe bring a younger player to the club to replace them . For example at CB very soon we would have Luiz , Cahill , Terry , Kalas , Omeruo , and I noticed KDB has been getting minimal game time , And even in midfield , Ake or Loftus-Cheek deserves a better chance even if it is at least training with the first team and having some substitute appearances because right now I think they are too far down the pecking order and I don't see at least one of the younger ones getting and I think there would be financial advantages to such and even developing one or two players . I know competition is good but when the people you`re competing with are clearly better than you in certain areas and have way more experience and bigger price tag I feel it is more of a disadvantage for whoever is against them.

9) And another problem with the depth situation is that one good player is on the bench being wasted, unfortunately its Mata who is suffering it, mid season it could be Hazard ( for some reason I feel so ) and then the fans who love the player would complain and could lead to disharmony on its own as not everyone could remain happy , the season the squad would have been content is when we had 7 competitions

10) Lastly Willian and Mata, Damn in the first half these guys were everywhere especially Willian it was amazing, the tackling their passes, everything I was happy with the performances from them and good to see the extra effort they put in closing down players

Arsenal overated or Chelsea getting their ***** together?
Pavel Permiachkin
@Pavel, its a combination of both. They couldn't even muster a half-decent chance, and to think they were playing at home. I've watched the replay and for the life of me, how did Essien and Mikel outshine Wilshere and Ramsey( who supposedly couldn't do anything wrong), in the midfield? Now former Arsenal players and executives giving the home fans stick for the atmosphere (see also AVB and spurs fans), SMH. I mean if you give fans a reason to be excited, you're gonna hear them support vociferously, just like Jose and the Lads are making CFC fans do @TM.

Ten things I Noticed: 1. We are boring, we always beat Arsenal 2. If I were to go to war, 9000 CFC fans will serve me better than 47 000 Arsenal fans. 3. Mata>Santi Carzola+Ozil 4. Bertrand would walk into any PL side bar Everton (For Now) 5. For Chelsea they say Money cannot buy Class...but for Arsenal splashing the cash does not equate to silver. 6. CFC Fans can sing. 7. JM has a profound impact on his former players. 8. Arsene is not tactically astute. 9. Jose remains the best signing 10. Even the impending take over from Usmanov will not help LeArse go above CFC.

What I'll say about that is that u want too many things too early, the first team have not really gelled and even some of the superstars are being benched, yet u want 2-3 youth players in the team, it can't happen that way, the first thing that is going to happen is for mourinho to identify his strongest XI, another thing is that last season we almost got apoplectic when we brought in marin, benayoun and atimes moses, this season we have abundance in squad depth that the likes of bayern, barca and madrid have and it "seem" as if u are sounding unhappy about it stating that some won't get game time, mourinho is good at rotating players, as long as a player is working hard, he'll give them their chance, and we have annoying fixtures coming at the end of this month and in december where we'll be playing 3 games in a week, that is when u'll appreciate our squad depth, the youth players can't get into the team now due to the age and quality of the first teamers (most are just out of their teens), they'll make do with developing and honing their skills on loan till we start pruning the team in 2 years time and the best performers on loan would be integrated into the team imo.

Arsenal are overrated. They havent met a really strong opponent in the league yet, thats why they are on top.Tottenham to me,going by this season aren't such a strong side. And beating them at home has never been a problem. The two strong teams they have faced(Chelsea and dortmund),they lost at home to both. When they start facing da real big guys in d league, they gon' fall back were they belong to.That is struggling for 4th place.

Essien improving his resale value? What in the world have you been smoking? Essien is at a point in his career where "re-sale value" is meaningless. Who is going to buy him? Answer that before you even think about what he would be worth. I like Essien, mind you - but he's a liability, and strictly a gamble. He came back to Chelsea to die. (metaphorically speaking)

I am more concerned about the next 3pts, I will let the management worry about other issues keep winning and I don't care who plays
