'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Stat Attack - Swansea (h)

As we head towards the home fixture against Liverpool, the last fixture of 2013, we`ve a few facts relating to the 1-0 home win over Swansea City, on Boxing Day.

Firstly, the victory over Michael Laudrup`s side meant that Jose Mourinho has now gone 69 Premier League games without being beaten and out of those 69 games the 'Special One` has won 54.

Secondly, Frank Lampard made his 16th Boxing Day appearance which is a Premier League record.

Lastly, spare a few thoughts for our opponents Swansea, if the league was comprised of a calendar year then the Swans would be in trouble having only taken only 38 points from 36 games despite being praised for their attractive way in which they approach the game.
