Bertrand's Gone

Bertrand's Gone

Well that didn`t take long did it!

Only a matter of days after finally signing Bertrand Traore, the eighteen year old has exited Stamford Bridge.

Like several others, eighteen year-old Traore has joined the Dutch side Vitesse Arnheim, a club that probably has as many Chelsea players in his first team as it has Dutch.

Here at Vital Chelsea we`d like to wish the teenager all the best on his Dutch adventure.

Maybe it should be an u written rule that if we are talking about this one then it's last name only: Traore. At least until Ryan Bertrand is still here.

A perfect home for him to continue his development. I'm pretty sure he will get lots of game time there cos Vitesse has a very lean squad and Traore now is even better than his rival for the right side of their midfield, a certain Ibarra.

There was never a chance that he could stay due to work permit issues. The move is the best that could be arranged and i believe he would do well there and if he can play a couple of competative matches for his country, he should be able to secure work permit come next season.

Well that's our future band of three (Atsu,Piazaon,Traore) behind the striker. Would be nice if they developed a sense of relationship and understanding between them.

I am not 100% sure but methinks he is already playing for BFaso so getting a work permit wouldn't have been much of an issue. However, I wish him all the best at Vitesse and hope that he and Piazon come back to anchor major roles in our title winning seasons in the years to come.

Great player.... love him... I just hope this one is properly managed and nurtured.... He shouldn't stay on loan for too long, bring him back next season....

Was worried it was our underused and under rated left back.

good loan move for him, he should get ample game time considering the fact that kakuta and Sam Hutchinson have been recalled.

Lets hope gets some playing time and continues his development. Actually wud love to see Piazon in the 1st team next season but doesnt looks likely that any attacking position youngsters will get any sort of chance atleast for 3-4 years.
