Could a swap deal be on the cards?

A lot of rumours have been flying around that Mourinho is interested in Gonzalo Higuain and Benitez is interested in Mata.

Could a swap deal take place?

It may be something that appeals to both Mourinho and Abramovich. They both know that what we need most is a top striker, so the opportunity to get one for no fee could be very tempting.

Could Higuain be the answer to our striker problems?

I don't think a swap is on the cards. Higuain's been at Napoli barely 6 months replacing Cavani. Who do they get now in middle of the season? Just rumours. Jose emphatically denied making a move for Higuain.

it would be daylight robbery, we dont need higuain, we need a player like Diego Costa,Suarez or Rooney, those are sensible swap deals if we are going through that lane

As virtually all the other posters have stated. This will not happen and for many reasons should not and cannot happen. Jose essentially closed the case on this media invented Higuan interest at his most recent press conference. Time to move on to more plausible rumors.
