'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Twenty-Somethings?

All the guff relating to the Inter Milan midfielder, Fredy Guarin, coming to the Premier League appears to have been misplaced.

Linked with, primarily, a move to Stamford Bridge but also interesting Manchester United and Tottenham, it is being reported that Inter Milan have no intentions of selling the 27 year-old.

Continuing on a twenty-something theme, there is speculation doing the rounds in the media today that Crystal Palace, under the leadership of Tony Pulis, are looking to make a cheeky move to take twenty-eight year-old Demba Ba to Selhurst Park, on loan.

What`s the verdict?

Are you disappointed that it appears Guarin won`t be coming and what about Ba, should he be let go?

Your views are, as usual, very much appreciated.

with Essien likely to depart and lamps getting older..I think guarin's deal might not be over yet ...ba should be sold permanently to finance a deal for a new striker

Would love us to get Guarin, with Lampy and Essien getting long in the tooth, Guarin would be an ideal buy whilst we built up Ake, Christnen, Chalobah, and co

Guarin latest news is a bit disappointing, though I really prefer Rakitic instead. Ba and KDb not being even on bench for Derby was a sign that they might leave.

We need not buy anything now...As of now, no strikers are avl...For midfield, lets use Luiz for time-being...Rotate Luiz in pivot & CB....We would be fine for top 3...If we really want to challenge for title, then buy a CM (but mostly all are overpriced :-( in this window)

we should forget about guarin if inter are overpricing him and get cabaye, rakitic or go for gundogan if he can be persuaded

Guarin's deal according to sources is hard because of His wage demands as Inter wants to sell Him to finance other buys. Ba on loan @ His age? No thank you...
