And the next to take centre stage is - The Persian

1 - What is your abiding memory of 2013? (It can either be Chelsea related, of a personal disposition or a world event that affected you.)

The whole saga of appointing Jose... the rumours and interviews...the talks about Jose's release clause in his contract with RM...Roman's (and the board's) unpredictable decisions... Jose's desire to
come back to England... SAF's retirement in that time... don't knowing if Jose wants to go to Man U or Chelsea... it was killing me really...after the appointment of Rafa, I thought anything can happen and could not believe the rumours until it was officially confirmed...

2 - Who do you perceive was the best and most consistent Chelsea player of the year?

Three players... Hazard, Azpilicueta and Ramires..... if I have to choose only one, it has to be Cesar. Ramires is getting better but he doesn't have a tough competition for his place in the team.... and
Hazard plays almost all the time, even if he's not at his best form..... but Cesar has really been fighting for his place and he's been solid... definitely our best fullback

3 - Who scored your favourite goal of the year? (It can either be a Chelsea player or somebody else)

Willian's goal away at Carrow Road... what a goal with his wrong foot !

4 - What is your biggest regret of the year?

I would like to keep it Chelsea related... so it's definitely the European Super Cup defeat against Bayern Munich

5 - Who disappointed you most in the year?

Well there are a few... Demba Ba, we haven't given him enough chances to show his qualities. He can't really do much worse than Torres and Eto'o... he deserves more. May be a couple of consecutive starts is the least he should get. Also, I liked to see Romeu and Van Ginkel in our first team in this season and finally, letting Sturridge join Liverpool without giving him more chances in his preferred CF role , was not the wisest decision.

6 - How do you see the season panning out with regards to Chelsea possibly winning a trophy?

I think we will win something at the end of the season, the FA cup or the CL.

7 - Who do you reckon is in the running for the Chelsea Player of the Year award come April / May?

Hazard to win the Chelsea POTY, and Cesar or Oscar to win the Players' POTY

8 - Which of our growing band of youngsters do you reckon will make the grade first?

It's hard to guess but I like to see Chalobah make it first. He's very talented and seems like a future Chelsea captain.

9 - Who do you reckon will finish top-scorer, for Chelsea, this season?

Hazard

10 - Gaze into the crystal ball and predict one major event that will make front page news in the world this year?

Moyes gets the sack... Suarez joins Real Madrid... Rooney will finally sign for us (I have a feeling that he will sign in this January !!)... and , England appoints another manager (Harry Redknapp,
hopefully) and sack Roy Hodgson.

I wish you all a happy year

Very interesting read..if doubt that Manu will sack Moyes after just one season but if they do what a an absolute circus will follow because SAF will be looking for the blood of those who back stab his "chosen one" and believe me SAF is still very powerful in the Manu circles of power. I do agree with you that should liverpool fail to make top 4 Suarez will become the next Real Galactico come summer.
