Wenger - Keep Your Snout Out!

It`s not welcome!

Following the suspected sale of Juan Mata to Manchester United, for a fee rumoured to be in the region of 37 million, our friend, Arsene Wenger, over in North London, seems to have a thing or two to say about us.

Although we should be, perhaps, honoured that Le Professor has decided to share his opinions on the Mata saga with us, I`m probably not the only one who believes he`s sticking that long nose of his in where it is not wanted.

Making his own suppositions on the Mata deal, Arsene is quoted as having remarked,

"I`m surprised Chelsea have sold Mata to a rival - I think it is for financial reasons."

"It`s the first time I have come to that conclusion with Chelsea and means something`s changed with their philosophy."

"Last year they lost 50 million. If they get 37 million for Mata and 18 million for De Bruyne, they want to get in line for Financial Fair Play."

"Until now we only had one or two billionaires in football. But now we are fighting on more even ground, so we all have to respect some rules."

Does anyone recall when Wenger got extremely upset over that voyeurism episode?

Well perhaps he should keep that long snout out of our business and concentrate on winning a trophy, something he doesn`t appear to have done for almost a decade!

When Mourinho doesn't like a player it doesn't matter how good they are he will single handedly set out to destroy that player. It is no wonder he is so despised in Spain. Of course United are the real winners here. They get a world class players that the Chelsea fans forget was the best player for the last two seasons. And they get him for next to nothing. It's amazing how a club that has dominated English football for more than 20 years is on the brink of missing out on the Champions League, ultimately setting them back from anywhere from 5 years to 10 years. You'd think that a club like Chelsea who has lost out to United in the title race on many occasions since Abramovich came in, would be open to seeing United exit the title race for anywhere up to 10 years as they are forced to completely overhaul their club. But no. You see, the most important thing to Mourinho is winning the title this season so he saves United by giving them one of the worlds best players and the Chelsea fans are okay with it??? Amazing. This is why that famous 10 year plan to dominate world football never worked. This is why Chelsea go through managers annually. They cannot plan beyond the next 6 months. I wish Mata well. And while he won't face Chelsea this season, I hope next season he scores the winning goal against Chelsea every game. But then Mourinho won't see it because he'll be sacked after winning nothing this season anyway.
Trennon
He's just scurred of Mata killing him and his wizard in Manure colors and then having to face oscar in blue and get killed at da bridge. hahaha methinks he needs that voyeur speech from Mourinho again
Gian-Franco/Luca
Should have sold him to arsenal I'm totally hacked off

Wenger is one of the foremost managers and thinkers in the game and surprise surprise journalists want to hear his views on important events in the game. What Wenger has said about this makes perfect sense and if his views didnt warrant attention the VC editor wouldn't have published them and tagged newsnow Arsenal hoping for a few hits.
Deltaforce
If he really thinks selling to a rival is so wrong then why did he sell RVP to Man U and a whole hand full of his top players to city ? Maybe he doesn't think that the ARSE are good enough to be called Rivals to the top clubs in the EPL. And I wonder who Trennon supports, me thinks I smell an ARSE, you numpty
BIG_R
Deltaforce if Mr Winger is such a great thinker then why have the Arse won so little over the last ten or so years, content to be an also ran and money maker for his bosses. You may think he plays football the right way, but is losing the right way to play football ??
BIG_R
BIG_R. Well it's clear what the R stands for when your entire opinion is based on what a person said as apposed to what the subject was. And that subject isn't about selling to a rival. It's about the timing and the reason for that sale. That sale is to boost an opponent for upcoming fixtures to help a short sighted managers attempt to keep his job. Mourinho has already failed at the job he was hired for and he knows it. But he wants to go out on a high. He wants to go out with the premier league title so his reputation in the Chelsea stands is saved. He knows he cannot beat City. He's probably even worried about Arsenal and so this is the best plan he can come up with. Strengthen the team that has the best chance of taking points from both Arsenal and City. But what about next season? He doesn't care because he'll most likely not be there. You see, Abramovich wants a manager that can bring Chelsea style and class in their play. Those were the bases of him being hired. Not trophies. Abramovich will get trophies no matter who is the manager. What he wants more than anything is what Wenger gave Arsenal. What Fergy gave United and what Pellegrini has given City. Style. Mourinho tried to bring that at first, but after Chelsea stuttered and dropped points it was clear that this was something beyond him. Mourinho wins with boring football and Abramovich doesn't want that. So sadly Mourinho will hurt Chelsea just so he can desperately win a title the only way he knows how. So yeah. Enjoy. Hope to hell selling Mata backfires.
Trennon
Trennon Mourinho has failed??????????? Dont know what you are saying?
Victor Hamadziripi
Trennon, Mourinho has failed? LOL, who are you? Arse Whinger?
Keyser Soze
Paranoia reigns at Arsenal, they object to certain transfers in January. In future will all prospective deals have to be approved by them?
Since1963
So Jose is selling Mata to win PL THIS season. That's Wenger's opinion and apparently gooners too. Mata has done zilch against City in his time here, and didnt play when we beat them at the bridge. City are overwhelming favourites in PL, COC cup and FA cup, to complete a domestic treble. And they have an outside chance in CL too. It's no mind games, like media and neutrals keep honking when Jose says that if we beat City to PL title this season it will be his finest achievement as manager............... Selling Mata even though bitter for us blues fans, is being done for different reasons entirely.
syed230183_chelseafc
Arsene wenger said chelsea and mancity where killing the game by big money signing yet he bought ozil for 41mil............... He sold nasri, clinchy and rvp that was not bad till chelsea sold mata......I hate the fact that chelsea is selling mata to manure but if that is what has to be done as seen by mourinho I think nobody here knows the business better than he does ......................succes mata but never against chelsea please
Finney_angel
Ditto - everything above should apply to Pellegrini www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2545279/Manuel-Pellegrini-criticises-Chelsea-sale-Juan-Mata-Manchester-United.html

Silver lining ,we *****ed off Wegner and Pelligrini ,ha ha ! .
Michael Reid
So can anyone explain why Mata was sold at this moment? To a direct rival? Im sure it wasnt because Your club needed the money. It can only mean Mourinho was feeling sorry for the poor guy sitting on the bench and wanted to give him a chance to rescue Utd's season. Yeah, that must be it.
Wyn Mills
LOL. What a joke of a club Chelsea is. Can't wait to see Mourinho sacked, again!
