Salah Deal Done

Salah Deal Done

The deal to bring the FC Basel player Mohammad Salah to Stamford Bridge was finally sealed on Sunday.

A medical was satisfactorily concluded and personal terms for the 21 year-old Egyptian were hammered out.

Salah`s pace will add to our counter attacking threat and when asked about the move the player is quoted as having remarked,

"I`m very happy to sign for such a big club. I hope I can make the supporters happy."

As for Jose Mourinho, when asked about Salah, wryly replied,

"First of all, he won`t score against Chelsea - which is a good thing. Seriously, we had to react to the Mata situation, which was unexpected."

"Salah is a player who looks for space, trying to get behind people. He`s a good choice and a good option."

Here at Vital Chelsea we`d like to officially welcome Salah to Stamford Bridge and we hope his Chelsea career is a successful one.

mourinho referred to him as a good option, going by the little or no recognition the lad is accorded due to the mata saga, I am willing to place a bet that this kid is going to excite us and bring a breathe of fresh air. he'll probably challenge for a starting berth in a coupla weeks

He's a good player and he can be world class too. Mou will make him better as he's his kind of player. He'll actually get into the rhythm of the game fast and i am excited to see him play. Welcome Man!

I actually suspect that this guy will quickly supplant Schurrle in the pecking order of our second band of three attacking mids and will be getting starts when we are faced with opposition where his blistering pace could be a great asset.

The New Luis Suarez is born! Gracias Senhor Mourinho for this gift, which you ironically gifted us on your Birthday; we owe you one for this, Senhor! Welcome home Salah; you're one of us now. No more heartbreaks from you on our European nights again, rather our opposition gets your full unforgiving arsenal trained on them from now on. Please teach us how not to miss our Special Juan - the newest manure in red - too much, all through your hopefully glory-filled years to come in SW6. Be champion mate, Insha Allah ;)

Surely, by next season, this team has got to be one of the best team in Europe. Willian is coming into his own and still can get even better I feel, Hazard is setting the league alight, Oscar I feel will become worldclass (hes only 22 and I think will be better than Mata if he keeps his head down personally), Salah will take a few month to get use to the pace and strength of the league but what a player he is. And still have players such as Schurrle and those on load. KTBFFH
