Torres Returns!

Torres Returns!

As we start to look towards the fixture against Newcastle United this weekend and the possibility of extending our ten game unbeaten run, the squad has been boosted by some news relating to our record signing.

Fernando Torres, who picked up a knee ligament injury in the victory over Manchester United on January 19th, was expected to be out for something in excess of four weeks, according to the Special One.

However, we are able to report that Fernando`s powers of recovery have impressed everybody behind the scene and the £50 million striker is ready to return to training this week.

Obviously he`ll not be in contention for the visit of Newcastle but with a hectic list of fixtures to negotiate, its news the club will, no doubt, be extremely welcome to hear.
