Chasing the Same Names

Yesterday the tabloid press was championing the fact that Jose Mourinho believes the acquisition of a world class striker will, this summer, see him with a team he believes can sweep all before them.

The tabloid names three names, those of Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid), Edinson Cavani (Paris St Germain) and Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich)

Now you responses as to who Jose should, out of the three, opt for were mixed.

However, this morning there is, apparently, another chapter to the story with it being inferred that our friend up in N5, Arsene Wenger is also looking for that elusive world class striker to complete his squad and, surprise, surprise, his list of three contains two of those Chelsea are linked with, in Mario Mandzukic and Diego Costa with the only uncommon denominator being Arsene is also looking at the Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

I wonder who`ll end up where?

Arsenal has a invisible limit of around 45m. They wont spend more than that. Either on one player or multiple player, it doesnt matter...

Chelsea vs arsenal, who would Costa choose? Ur guess is as good as mine!!! its a grand delusion if arsene thinks he can ever compete with Chelsea in the transfer window

Who knows though, they could be champions this year and that could change things a bit.. I think Chelsea should be an easy choice for anyone of course, but then again I'm biased :)

I am more than fine with Mandzukic if Costa doesn't pan out.
