Match Day Moments - Everton (h)

Match Day Moments - Everton (h)

Is it me, or does it feel as if it has been ages since we`ve played a Premier League fixture?

Okay, it`s probably me but we`re finally back in the Premier League groove today when we face Everton at Stamford Bridge.

Dropping two points against West Bromwich Albion, in our previous fixture; means that our impetus at the top of the Premier League table took a knock.

Can we overcome the resistance that Roberto Martinez`s side will provide?

Will we rediscover that certain something in our play that was so evidently missing in our FA Cup tie against Manchester City?

Who will make the starting eleven?

Questions that will all be answered come the final whistle.

So why not join us from noon tomorrow (remember it is a 12:45 kick-off) and we`ll have one of those afternoons that could turn out memorable.

Up the Chels!

I just want 3point, even if its by a half goal ..........................................................................................tricky but hopeful tie
22/02/2014 05:18:00
anything lesser than the full 3 points at stake would be a total disaster, let's hope Everton won't park the bus as they did in the first leg and I hope to God we take our chances today with Torres likely to start. this is one game we need Oscar, hazard and willian to step up their performances, its high time mourinho stop mollycoddling them with the horsy statements. if we want to win something this season then we need to grow some
22/02/2014 06:16:00
'ere we go boys! 2-1 to the Chels.
22/02/2014 06:16:00
Anything other than 3point will be a disappointment today. Come on you blues and make us proud
22/02/2014 06:28:00
and I want us to hammer Everton in front of lukaku whose loyalty to his parent club is questionable. I just want our boys to shut lukakus mouth with a superb performance today. Blue4life

3-1 to us, hazard and lampard among the scorers.
22/02/2014 06:54:00
A chance to pull away from arsenal as i don't see them winning sunderland later today.
22/02/2014 06:55:00
@desmond please what time is it kicking off?
22/02/2014 07:28:00
The boys would have been well rested for this match I guess.... I think we should play our strongest team in this one

Samuel Chimezie aka "Samychim", I suppose, doing his best to spam the thread again even when the author had expressly stated kick-off is @12:45 GMT. Lol

I have a suspicion that our regular negative friends are going to be here to irritate today
22/02/2014 09:46:00
I am also expecting that there is a very good chance that we will win this match as the players will have been well rested, and Mourinho will have them well prepared tactically for Everton knowing its an important match
22/02/2014 09:48:00
The one point about this match today is hopefully we WILL win but the consequences will be that it will give United a big boost in terms of their chances of making top 4.... which I DONT want

Forgive me Didn't read all of merlin's article...hahaha,I guess I'm a bit nervous and too excited, after staying a week without seeing my blue boys play.It got please forgive me for making a fool of Anyways,I finally just got registered as a bonafide VC member since what I had been using all these times had been my Facebook account to post here. Although I had been following this site for over 3 years never got to be able to post until over a year ago,and now today's my first post as a VC memeber after so many trials. So,once again, please pardon me for being excited. ;-)

Come to think of it HGH Magic,am beginning to have this feeling you have a thing or two against I wrong....? Well,if having always used my FB account to post here qualified me as a 'spamer' or 'troll'....well,I'm not anymore. But rest assured that am not a Chelsea troll nor spamer at heart. If you know me very well there a handfull,or two, of things in this life I've pretty much taken very seriously and Chelsea is deffinitely one of them.
22/02/2014 10:55:00
@ all VC posters, can we please focus on the club rather than each other ? Some people here are picking fights for the sake of picking fights or being overly negative to provoke (the trolls - who will remain unnamed - you know who you are) Fellow fans , please lets lets enjoy supporting and following our club rather than insulting each other. Fans have a right to a different even a WRONG opinion . If you want to voice your disagreement , reply to the argument , not the person. If we can agree this rather than becoming abusive , this will be a more pleasant site , even in the presence of much disagreement

Who will score Everton goals ? I don't see much of a threat coming from their attackers... I don't see us losing, but a draw might be possible.
