'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Drogba Still Loves Chelsea!

It was somewhat inevitable that, with a huge Champions League knockout tie against Galatasaray coming up, Didier Drogba would be the centre of attention.

The legend that is Didier did so much during his eight years at Stamford Bridge that he`ll always be remembered with great fondness.

Thankfully the feelings are reciprocated with Didier remarking about his time at Chelsea and rumours that recently linked him with a return to SW6 in some kind of role,

"I had a great time at Chelsea. I was there eight years and if Jose Mourinho said 'I want you to come back` I`d think about it."

"But there has been no approach from the club, so there is no need to speak about it. It is just rumours."

Sad to hear that, but Didier, who is according to rumours, being courted by the MLS, had something to say about his current club, our opponents on Wednesday night, Galatasaray, commenting,

"I`m very happy at Galatasaray and the supporters have been great."

"We won the Turkish league last season and knocked Juventus out of the Champions League to get to the knockout stages."

Which is all fair enough, but his love for our wonderful club comes shining through again when he further remarks, to the media,

"But I`m not over Chelsea yet and I don`t want to be."

"People know how much I love the club and the fans."

"I can`t forget what I`ve done there and all the memories. Chelsea will always have a special place in my heart and in my life."

Which brings us around to the $64,000 question about whether Didier would celebrate scoring a goal against the club that meant so much to him, coyly remarking about celebrating, or not, if he were to score against us,

"I will be happy to score but you have to show respect."

So we take it their will be, if the Ivorian does score, very minimalistic celebrations!

I won't mind if he gets a goal, but he should do it at the back of a 4-1aggregate win for us. everybody is happy :-)
