Milan Interest in Torres!

Milan Interest in Torres!

I`ve no doubt that cometh the end of the season and the advent of the opening of the summer transfer window, there will be some activity on the striker front at Chelsea.

I`m also certain that there will be movements in both directions, with somebody coming in and somebody leaving.

This morning one news vehicle is hinting that one striker who could be leaving is Fernando Torres with it being suggested that our record signing could be bound for Serie A with Inter Milan said to have sufficient funds, said to be in the region of £20 million, to sign the striker.

What`s your verdict; is this one deal you can see happening?

I know Inter love Jose and will never forget him for the glorious triple crwon season he delivered them but if this is true this will be taking goodwill for Jose to another level. At 20 million to us and El ninos wages of our book i would be willing to chip in something towards the plane ticket fees to milan for El nino and his family. His exit would mean that we would see an entirely new 3 man strike force as Ba and Eto O are almost certainly also out the door and that is what i am hoping and praying for. Let us just wipe the entire strikers plate for this season clean and press the reboot button with my new preferred tandem of the Kraken, Costa and either Manduzic or Ballotelli.

I can't see it happening for 20m, unless we're paying them that. 10 million is more realistic and probably more than we deserve for him.

Lol @ shlok.... with Torres ,Ba and Etoo off our books, we should BRI the kraken back and make a bid for Cavani . feruz orBamford can be used as a third striker . I actually prefer Feruz, he is young and not on loan

I can honestly see RVP coming our way given how disenfranchised he is at ManU. Who knows, maybe a stipulation of selling Mata to them they in turn agreed that we would have a choice of RVP or Chicha - given the said player would fancy such a move. I quite like either of the 2 above + Costa and Lu. Sell Torres, Eto'o will be gone and either sell or loan Ba.

I earnestly wish this is true and the chelsea board don't reject a bid when it materialised.

If we can offload him, we can get in Costa and get Lukaku back our squad is near enough complete. Dont offer an extension to Eto. So our three strikers are Costa, Lukaku and Ba. Behind have willian, schurrle, Hazard, Oscar, Salah, Piazon. Rami, Matic, VDW maybe another? in the middle. Terry, Cahill, Luiz, Ivanovic, Azpi, and hopefully a new left back ...Shaw? and get Courtois back. then its complete.
