"We`ll Not Win All Nine" says Jose!

As Chelsea prepare to take on Aston Villa, later this afternoon, Jose Mourinho has come out with a few words that might stun a few of those who firmly believe we`re going to win the title this season.

Although Chelsea sit proudly on top of the table knowing if they win all the remaining 9 fixtures and Manchester City slip up just once, the title is ours, Jose has poured a little cold water on our ambitions by remarking about returning to Villa Park and what lies ahead,

"If I didn`t win there before, it`s because it`s difficult to win there."

"They are a good team. When I saw the beginning of the season, the way they played at the Emirates and at Stamford Bridge, I thought they would be between fifth and eighth."

"They have one thing that is very important: An identity."

"Sometimes they play 4-3-3, sometimes it is 4-2-2 with a diamond but the tactical system doesn`t matter. Everybody knows what they want to do and the way they want to do it."

"They have qualities to hurt you and we`ll have to play a very good game to get something out of this."

And on the other eight remaining games, Mourinho added,

"No, we won`t win all our games. I know the list."

"Villa away is very difficult. Arsenal is difficult. Palace away with Tony Pulis is very difficult."

"Stoke are difficult, the style of play they have. Swansea will be looking for the last points they need to survive and the quality of their play is good."

"Sunderland will be fighting for their lives. Liverpool is very difficult."

"And maybe the last match, Cardiff are playing for survival. Every one of the nine matches we have to play is difficult and dangerous."

Is Jose right to be apprehensive?

How many points do YOU think we`ll accumulate from the last nine games and what will be needed to win the 2013/2014 Premier League title?

As I said sometime ago, 87 points might be the magic number just enough [for us or City] to nick the title; although mathematically possible, I don't think anyone'll get all 93.

No, that would be surprising but of course we must be able to win more than our opponents. 93 would put them just behind the class of 2005 and I don't think this side can say it is second to that side yet. Probably fourth best, 2005, 2006 and then 2010 being the top three title winning sides.
