Former Chelsea Defender Out for the Season!

Former Chelsea Defender Out for the Season!

Those who follow the fortunes of former Chelsea players might well have been keeping an eye on Robert Huth since he left Chelsea.

The German centre-back was something of a cult hero at Stamford Bridge for his no-holds barred play and his repertoire of fearsome free-kicks.

Since signing for Stoke City, Huth has continued to carve out a decent career in the Premier League, however, this season has been one whereby the player has been rocked by injury.

Absent for several months, courtesy of a knee injury, it was announced yesterday that Huth had undergone an operation that will see him side-lined for the remainder of the season.

Here at Vital Chelsea we`d like to take time out to wish Robert a speedy recovery after all anyone who leaves stud marks on Alan Shearer`s testicles, whilst playing for us, deserves to remain in our affections.
