Another Left Back Nomination

Another Left Back Nomination

The left-back spot, at Chelsea continues to generate press speculation.

It remains to be seen whether Ashley Cole agrees a new contract, or whether Luke Shaw can be signed from Southampton or even whether Ryan Bertrand (currently on loan at Aston Villa) or even Patrick van Aanholt (on loan at Vitesse Arnheim) can force themselves into the picture.

However, this morning, the inference is being made by the tabloid press that Chelsea are interested in bringing the Fenerbahce left back, Caner Erkin to Stamford bridge.

Erkin is twenty-five years of age and is also being watched by Liverpool and, with the player being a free agent, there are likely to be other additions to the list of those said to be interested in acquiring his services.

Is he really that good? Never heard of him until I read this.

Lets think about this clearly. LB is NOT a need nor a priority for CFC. Buying another LB would be a luxury purchase. Why waste money on another LB when Cesar is already performing at an elite level. IMO spending 20, 30 M for Luke Shaw or whomever…STUPID…CFC needs a CF a playmaking creative CM that can defend and an Elite goal scoring winger not Willian, not Schurrle those two are squad players.

With Azpi, we don't need an LB. Ryan should come back and deputise. Caner who now?!!?!?!?

we can just make put Luiz alongside Matic and then our pivot problems are sorted. then buy diego costa for £32M and maybe an experienced CB if Zouma isn't good enough to be 2nd choice to terry/cahill. selling marin/moses/ba/mikel will raise enough money to buy Costa. and then maybe we should buy Markovic as a winger/CAM and 3rd choice ST. oh yeah also offload torres

Luiz-Matic Pivot will be the best for us....we can dominate any midfield in this world with them...both are dynamic, and have great passing ranges...with these 2 on pivot,, you may not even need the front 3 to track back that much.

I will totally leave this to the scouting department and jose to get us another gem in our left back position though is has to be accepted that is not our primary area of need. But then, how a left back article has turned to that of a pivot is beyond me.

Please wait a little bit,we dont need any central midfielder unless we can get kroos who can play a different role in the team. Apart from that,we ave van ginkel who i true believe will ave a great season come next season plus lewis baker will be given some minutes next season but for now let luiz join matic and van ginkel in the pivotal while we recall either pvA or bertrand in left back, zouma can replace luiz at cb,our focus should be two strikers plus lukaku making 3strikers.please forget leftback we dont have problem there and we still have players who can fill the place in the future when Azpilicueta is finaly moved to the right wing
