Drogba`s Apprehensive about Bridge Return!

Drogba`s Apprehensive about Bridge Return!

And who wouldn`t be after what happened between us!

As we prepare to welcome Didier Drogba back to Stamford Bridge in what will, I`ve no doubt, be an emotional and humbling experience for everyone, it would appear that Didier is a little apprehensive about crossing swords with the club who made him what he is.

Speaking on the official UEFA site, Didier had this to say about his return and his sides chances of eliminating the club he`ll always love,

'First of all I was happy to play against my ex-club, against my friends. But at the same time it is a very special moment because I do not know what my reaction will be."

'You know that I spent eight years at Chelsea, so I really don't know, I am quite apprehensive about it.'

'It's the club where I experienced everything. I experienced the highest level, big games, big ties. It allowed me to get closer to the best players in the world.'

'I hope that Galatasaray qualify. It will be difficult, but I think that regarding the welcome, I think I'm allowed to say that I will receive a warm welcome, because I know Chelsea's fans and our relationship is really special."

'It will be great to see them again, I am looking forward to it.'

And so are we Didier, we owe you so much and the welcome you`ll get will be second to none, trust me I`m a Chelsea supporter.

It says in how much esteem i hold King Drogs that i would not at all mind if he scores at the Bridge as long as we manage to squeak through to the next round. In fact i would applaud it. This guy is a club legend and in my book the only ex Chelsea player i esteem higher is the great Gian Franco Zola. When i remember all he did for us and think in contrast of what El Nino has cost us both directly and indirectly in the final third i cannot wait for Drogs to finally hang up his boots and hopefully come back to help Jose teach and train our next generation of strikers like Lukaku and Bamford. I can only hope that by some means of good fortune we can find a way to get rid of El nino this summer..i am just totally fed up with the guy.

It will be lovely to see the gladiator striker score once again at the bridge as long as we are well ahead and our next round qualification guaranteed..well said about torres gabeu, this guy singlehandedly sacked carlo ancelloti, robbie di mateo in my opinion and his doomed experiment brought the fat spanish waiter to the managerial post at chelsea.

Drogba has no business getting a goal at the Bridge Tuesday night; feck such political correctness! After all from the reality that Galatasaray showed us in Hell last time out, anyone who thinks we'll go 3-0 up, in the face of the profligacy of our 'strikers', just so King Drog can score for an "applause" seems deluded, I'm afraid. I'm not one for such odious political correctness, pls. FFS I wouldn't even mind Drogba breaking a leg in training if he'll prove the difference between "my Chelsea" qualifying to the next round or not! I love being myself!

Didier oh didier, i said it before and i say it again, i really do not wish you would score a goal against us moreso at the point we find ourselves. I hope the people who wanted him to score can still come out and say it boldly lol smh. Ok that is that, truth is i don't see gala going past us. However it may be, i believe event will turn out to favor us. So far we keep it compact and tight at the back we will see this through. #UptheChels #Ktbffh

@kola and Hgh, i understand and share your sentiments..atleast i know no true member of the blue nation will want to be at the edge of their seat for the duration of the game on tuesday nite..but if by some impressive display ,like the manure game or by poor outing on the part of galatasaray, like the spuds game and we are well ahead by the stroke of 80minutes..a goal from drogba wont be too much to ask in my opinion..we are moving to the next round ,be calm.
