Well What Do You Know

Well What Do You Know

As we awake this fine Sunday morning to dwell on what was a magnificent 6-0 win over the old foe, Arsenal, yesterday, we`ve a few statistics for you to mull over, and the first is sure to raise a smile.

1 - Yesterday was Arsene Wenger`s >b>1000th game in charge of Arsenal, but did you know that as well as losing his 1,000th game in charge to Chelsea, the unfortunate Gunners` boss also lost his 500th game in charge of Arsenal to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as well.

2 - Arsenal are really not very good at this early kick-off lark having lost all three they`ve competed in this season and all three by heavy margins to Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.

3 - When Andre Shurrle finished with aplomb, to put Chelsea 2-0 up, it was the German`s 7th goal in 10 starts.

4 - When Samuel Eto`o opened the scoring for Chelsea, in the 4th minute it was his 11th goal of the season and, amazingly, all 11 have been scored at Stamford Bridge.

5 - The 6-0 rout yesterday was the first time Chelsea had scored 6 against the Gunners.
