Is the title race over?

Is the title race over?

After the unexpected defeat to Palace our chances of winning the title are slim but not impossible.

On paper we had what looked like the easier fixtures remaining out of the title contenders, the Crystal Palace result just shows that anything is possible.

We now have to rely on other results to go our way but that could happen.

Let's look at the next 4 fixtures.

- Liverpool - West Ham away, Man City home, Norwich away then Chelsea at home.

- Chelsea - Stoke at home, Swansea away, Sunderland at home and Liverpool away.

- Man City - Southampton at home, Liverpool away, West Brom at home and Palace away.

Looking at those games I think we can definitely get 10-12 points. I can see Liverpool dropping points against us and City. West Ham and Norwich away will be tough as they're both fighting for their lives.

With their games I can see City dropping points especially against Liverpool, Southampton and Palace, and they still need to play Everton away which will be very tough.

I think if we go on a winning run we can be crowned champions.

What are your predictions?

Firstly we would have to win all six remaining fixture which in cludes Liverpool away , and that wont be easy, but if we do that would rule Liverpool out, as for City they need to drop points from 2 games , and I think they might against Liverpool and Everton, so the title race is not over for us yet, But I just feel that some of our players havn't got the bottle to compete for it, I mean bad result against Palace and Villa in recent weeks says it all

Very optimistic but hope it turns out in our favour. #COYB

We must win all six and hope Liverpool beat City and one more game for them to drop points. The title's fate is not in our hand so much as it is in City's hands. If they lose to Liverpool then Pool will take the crown if they win all their other games.

We have to win all our remaining games to stand a chance. We won't. If we can't even score against palace west ham and Villa what makes you think we can roll over teams like swansea and stoke who will deploy similar tactics?

But if we can win all 6 games we do have a realistic chance. City need to drop 5 points and there's a possibility that they will. If liverpool beat them and everton (who are in form) draw against them. whilst us beating liverpool will mean we overtake them. thats about the only way we're winning the BPL. It's highly unlikely so I expect City to win the BPL

Seeing that we have lost points against the small teams and not really the big teams..I am not scared of facing liverpool but the smaller teams we will face..if we have eto'o ready and fit, there will be a little hope of overcoming those small are we sure we are going to get 10-12 points in our next 4 games? It was the same thing we said before we played palace...I really hope we can get maximum 18 points from the next 6 games though,we can't afford to drop any point again if we must win the league

habbo - thing is we ain't got no STRIKERS, and there's nothing uncertain about that vital flaw in our team. So...

There's no point beating Liverpool away when we are likely to lose against Norwich or Cardiff the following week.. We are a joke and certainly don't deserve the title. How can you destroy all the top teams and drop silly points vs small teams and claim you are good enough for the title?? These players need to step up and Jose needs to find a way to end this foolish trend..I am not impressed tbf and I have lost hope for this season's title, maybe next season.

We will finish 3rd
