No Longer Fake!

No Longer Fake!

With Jose Mourinho having declared that the Premier League table was fake when Chelsea were top but City had enough games in hand to overhaul us, that is no longer the situation.

Manchester City`s recent lapse means that the table is very real now, something Steve Holland was quick to emphasise during his pre-match press conference when Jose`s assistant remarked,

"The table is real now, yes."

"It`s a fact, a reality, that if we win all four we will be champions. We do have our destiny in our hands."

But with Jose apparently having taken a vow of silence, following his FA punishment of a fine of £8,000; the Special One remains very active behind the scenes as, hopefully, Chelsea chase down another Premier League title.

When pushed about Mourinho`s demure, Holland replied,

"Jose has been very similar to normal."

"He is constantly on to the players about the importance of the performance and winning, looking for different ways to motivate individuals and the group for every match."

"This is a crucial period and the most important message from Jose to all of them is we will need everybody in our group. They have to understand that."

"Jose is a very experienced manager in these situations, who knows how to handle himself. But, as the leader, the players are always looking at him, to see how he`s dealing with things."

It`s business as usual then we presume!
