Match Day Moments - Sunderland (h)

Match Day Moments - Sunderland (h)

It sounds so easy on paper doesn`t it!

Win our last four Premier League fixtures and we can party all night long with the Premier League trophy back in our trophy cabinet.

But the Premier League hasn`t been quite so easy this season with there being twists and turns almost every weekend.

On paper, Sunderland should be easy to beat but Gus Poyet`s side show they have some gumption by travelling to the Etihad Stadium in midweek and holding Manchester City to a 2-2 draw.

Also, with a Champions League semi-final, against Atletico Madrid, on the horizon, there are further, although most welcome; complications.

What will be Jose Mourinho`s plan this afternoon?

Who will make the starting eleven?

How will thing span out?

Join us from 17:00 hours onwards for the usual, chaotic but well-loved Match Day Moments threads!

Eto to come alive again or maybe another schurlle hattrick. I wish AC to start at LB and CA at RB just for today Jose.

Win against Sunderland and nothing else. Please Jose and the boys, allow me to sleep well tonight having added three more points in the bag. We can put a real pressure on Liverpool if we win this game. Any team news?

Any kind of win would do... This is no longer time to diggle around, get the ball in the net with the slightest opportunity that comes our way, defend very well and get the 3points in the bag. Chikina!

I ve a feeling that if we win today that liverpool would be under immense pressure tomorow. Yes they ve a very excellent record at norwich where they ve plundered around 15goals in there last 3visit but that record can add to the pressure if the 1st goal dont come early.

I'd want to see Cole today at left back and Cesar at right back. Salah has to start along with Willian and Oscar in the band of three and of course Eto'o upfront. Matic and Lamps in mid field while Terry and Cahill remains my obvious centre-back partnership.

Am counting on a goal from our centre forward today, eto or ba. Would be very suprise if its torres that starts.

BREAKING TEAM NEWS - Chelsea v Sunderland (17:30 BST) Mark Schwarzer starts for Chelsea, who are without Petr Cech. Eden Hazard remains on the sidelines as Samuel Eto'o and Oscar come back into the Chelsea starting line-up. Sunderland are unchanged. More on that later.
