I am currently on vacation in the southern part of Africa, I have been enjoying my day out until I met a man who was very confident that Liverpool is going to win the title.
I was amazed at his confidence that I decided to have a word with him and he made me know that there is a battle in court in southern Africa between a prophet named 'Uebert Angel' and the largest sport broadcasting channel in Africa known as supersport.
I really don't know much about this, so I am not going to be specific if this happened or not because I have been in the UK ever since and I just came down to Africa for my vacation holiday.
After discussing with the confident man who claimed to be an Arsenal fan, I tried to do more research about it but unfortunately I couldn't get something substantial but I could get one or two things about the case in court.
The news claims that December last year, supersport broadcasted that a certain prophet known as prophet Uebert Angel had received a revelation and saw the future that Liverpool were going to win the 2013/2014 Barclays Premier League season, it quickly went viral over here in South Africa and Zimbabwe (the prophets country.
A few months later the prophet came out denying he ever prophesied that Liverpool was going to win the title and he sued the sport broadcasting channel in court and claims he doesn't want credit even if Liverpool eventually win's the title.
Now I am not going all spiritual about this, but those who are Christians might actually believe this, even those who aren't Christians know some people does have the ability to see the future.
Whether the prophet prophesied it or not, we can't tell and whether Liverpool will win the title we can't be so sure until the end of round 38 games.
But I read a comment in a thread yesterday where someone claimed that probably Liverpool were 'destined' to win the title and that's why other title rivals are faltering at this critical stage of the season and Liverpool keeps pushing close and are getting crucial decisions off the ref, sympathy of the media and FA.
If one had told me Sunderland would end Jose's unbeaten run at the Bridge when teams like City, Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham and even Liverpool were beaten at Stamford Bridge, I would have LOL.
Now I am not saying I believe the reports of a claimed prophesy as the prophet has even denied the claim. But probably this is just Liverpool's year, we wouldn't know until the end of the final game of the season, but until then I still hope that our title rivals drop points and Chelsea FC are able to nick the title on the final day of the season.
Congratulations to whoever wins it, but I am very sure we will be back stronger and better next season irrespective of us winning the title this season or not. But I am optimistic!
