Name the Starting XI - Atletico Madrid (a)

Name the Starting XI - Atletico Madrid (a)

Well it would appear that all our eggs are now in the one basket.

Our capitulation at home to Sunderland means we`ll need a freaking miracle to grab the Premier League trophy of that shower from Anfield, therefore the only thing we have to play for (apart from securing a top three place to avoid the prospect of a Champions League qualification tie) is that famous trophy we won over in the Allianz Arena in 2012.

Bit we face stiff opposition in the shape of an Atletico Madrid side that are currently top of La Liga and knocked Barcelona out in the last round, one can only think those officials from UEFA who protect Barcelona from such things were on a jaunt elsewhere.

However matters, as regards getting a result from this tie are further complicated by the fact that Matic and Salah are illegible, having played in the competition in a previous round for their former clubs, and a lynch-pin of our normal back-four, Ivanovic, is suspended. Also throw into the mixer the fact that Petr Cech missed the defeat to Sunderland through illness and these are worrying times.

So, taking those facts into consideration, can any of the Vital Chelsea gang second guess who Jose will select for this crucial fixture?

Who`ll get me started?
