Match Day Moments - Atletico Madrid (a)

Match Day Moments - Atletico Madrid (a)

Savour the moment, it`s the first leg of our Champions League semi-final against the side that leads the Spanish League.

A Champions League Final, in Lisbon, is but 180 minutes away and a chance to experience those emotions shown in Munich, in 2012, all over again.

But this tie isn`t going to be easy, far from it. Atletico are, some would say, the team to avoid in this competition having knocked out Barcelona in the previous round. Diego Simeone has put together a side that is capable of beating anyone on the day and the fact that they`re the only team in the competition not to have lost yet says something about them.

Chelsea go into this tie without the injured Samuel Eto`o, they`ll also be without the suspended Branislav Ivanovic and Petr Cech is likely to be thrown into the cauldron having recovered from a virus that kept him out on Saturday, whilst all Chelsea supporters will be hoping that Eden Hazard has shaken off the calf injury that has see him side-lined since limping off against Paris St Germain in the quarter-final.

What starting eleven Jose Mourinho will opt for remains to be seen, but why not join us early this evening for our regular 'Match Day Moments` feature whereby the canvas is there for you to express your views on the starting eleven, the possible formation and the action as it happens.

Tonight has all the potential to become one of those nights!

We have to defend, press and attack as one and not stopping running and working from the first second till the last because Atletico will be doing the same. Let's give everything ! #Believe #upthechels #COYB #KTBFFH #carefree

Press Atletico. They pass the ball around the chasing players. One pass between the fullback and centre back, goal for Atletico Madrid.

Early rumors suggest Mikel starting in CM with Luiz and Lamps with Rami and Willian on the flanks in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 sort of system. Blimey!!!!

All our strikers are wonderful wonderlik. Could be a pivot of Mikel & Luiz with lamps running forward that's seems exciting folks.

Its going to be one of those champions league night tonight. This altlectico team scares me. They re not individually star players but as a team, i say they re a great team built on the spine of courtois, gabi, koke and cousta. But i am banking on the power of blue... That our players would make us proud!
