- The last team to beat Liverpool, in the Premier League, was Chelsea back on 29th December. Since then Liverpool have been unbeaten in 16 matches winning 14 and drawing 2.

- If Chelsea are to get the result that`ll give then hope of winning the Premier League they`ll need to inflict a defeat upon a Liverpool side who have won 11 consecutive Premier League fixtures.

- Chelsea will need to keep things tight early on. Liverpool have scored 15goals in the first fifteen minutes of matches this season and have scored 7 in the first five minutes.

- Chelsea enter this fixture having lost 2 of their last 3 away matches, winning the other one, strangely all three fixtures have ended 1-0.

- At a crucial stage of the season, Chelsea have seen their title hopes slip after collecting only 9 points from the last 18 available
