Stat Attack - Post Liverpool (a)

In what has now become a tradition, following a fixture, we`ve scuttled together a few statistics for your dissection.

1 - Following the 2-0 win up at Anfield yesterday, in what was a Jose Mourinho master-class, Chelsea have now accumulated 16 points in their games against the top four sides. In comparison, Liverpool have amassed a paltry 6.

2 - Jose Mourinho`s record against Liverpool, in the Premier League, remains as impressive as ever. In 9 fixtures against Liverpool, Jose has won 7, drawn 1 and lost 1.

3 - Brendan Rodgers, on the other hand, must be sick of the sight of Chelsea, the Liverpool manager has now played Chelsea 6 times, drawn 3 and lost 3 and has yet to sample the delights a victory brings.

4 - The 2-0 Chelsea win yesterday, courtesy of goals from Demba Ba and Willian, means that Liverpool`s last two Premier League defeats have come against a Jose Mourinho inspired Chelsea.

Enjoy!

Ba has been good over last few weeks..I think the one mistake Jose has made this season is starting Torres over Ba.. In the 4 games agianst West Brom, Aston Villa, Crytal Palace and Sunderland, Torres started twice and Etoo started twice.. Against teams that defend resolutely the way these teams did.. we needed someone with a physical presence who could bulldoze over the defence the way Drogba used to..and Jose definitely missed d trick esp coz Ba had been given no chance .. Also thats one reason why i would keep atleast one of Ba/ Lukaku for next season.
