A Lover`s Tiff!

A Lover`s Tiff!

But things are okay now!

Following the excellent 2-0 win against Liverpool, at Anfield, a win that damaged Liverpool`s chances of winning their first ever Premier League title, the Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, had some harsh words to say about Joe Mourinho and his tactics.

The words appeared to threaten the relationship they have had since Brendan learned his trade, under Mourinho, during Jose`s first spell at Stamford Bridge.

However, at the press conference ahead of the intriguing Champions League semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge tonight, against Atletico Madrid, the pair appear to have become bosom buddies again with Jose remarking to those in attendance,

"Brendan is a manager and is somebody I consider a friend. Of course I know his words after the match but I also know his words today - and today he told me, 'Congratulations for a great victory and a great performance`. So, especially because I consider him a friend, I prefer to forget the words after the match and I keep today`s."

"He`s an intelligent guy. He watched the match, for sure, on video and now I think he understood what happened."

I think we`ll call it a lover`s tiff shall we!

He will be smarter next season, we might not have it so easy but we should also have improved next season.

Either that or the green Brendan just re-enrolled for a refresher course at the Special One's School of Big Matches Winning Technology. I guess Liverpooooo should be fine next term, if and only if Florentino Perez decides his man, Luis Suarez, can stay in Merseyside for one more year ;)

lol it's alright. we all know friends fight but then the great ones happen to make up. A defeat is always hard to take so brendan words after the match can be forgiven. He certainly has rewatched the match and realised his mistakes. He kept coming at us with all he got, removed lucas for an attacker and that was where the danger set in for him. Maybe trying to stay compact and play out for a draw would have been better for him.
