Match Day Moments - Norwich (h)

Match Day Moments - Norwich (h)

And so, far too soon for my liking, we`re contemplating our last home fixture of the 2013/2014 season.

The season has been one with some notable highs and also one with some notable lows, but one thing you can`t say is that it hasn`t been uneventful.

Relegation threatened Norwich are our final home opposition this season and, following the dramatic defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek, Mourinho has pledged a win for the fantastic Chelsea support who have been behind him 100% this season.

It remains to be seen whether Lady Luck will smile down on us this weekend and place the destiny of the title in our own hands, but we can but hope.

So, in a season that has had numerous twists and turns why not join us, from around 14:00 hours n(UK time) when we`ll be on hand to offer a canvas for you to discuss the starting elevem, the formation and, most importantly, the action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

Be there, if you care!

Lets end our last home with 3 points then, I doubt Liverpool will slip up but we can always hope.

FOREIGN_VIEWER. I'm one of those people who normally enjoys to spectate and view from a distance on this site. I write the occasional piece when I have the time. I'm a believer of freedom of speech and I often enjoy hearing peoples various opinions, even if they do clash or differ from my own. However, I must say, I really don't understand you. I'm curious, what exactly do you want? What do you want from Chelsea? What would make you happy? I ask this question because after years of being involved with this site, seeing countless managers come and go, I honestly cannot recall one positive thing that you've ever said. Everything you say is negative, EVERYTHING. No matter how good a moment, no matter how positive things are, you always enjoy finding ways to dampen the spirit and basically find any way you can to be negative. Why is this? Most of the people on here enjoy talking about their team, sharing opinions and getting excited and upbeat reading each other's views. With you though, it's almost like you enjoy arguing. Getting a rise out of people. It's like you come here merely to spew (at times) really ridiculous statements just to annoy people. It works, you do provoke some spectacular reactions, often comical, but is that the reason you do it? Bordom? Wanting to start trouble? Let me ask you something, do you even support Chelsea? Do you share the same love and passion for this team as we do? From what I read, it doesn't seem this way. It seems that you only enough focusing on our problems and stumbles. Even at this great time, OUR era. It's rather sad actually. I just don't understand why you chose you spend your time in this way when surely there's more positive things that can be said......

Our title challenge is over regardless of Liverpools results. Liverpool dropping points just means we'll finish 2nd instead of 3rd. For us to wn the league now would mean Palace/Newcastle to beat Liverpool and for City to lose to Villa/West Ham.

The only thing I'm hoping for now is that neither City nor Liverpool break our PL goals record of 103. They're both on 96 with 2 games left. Hopefully Palace park the bus and liverpool win only 1-0 and then hopefully newcastle do something and only lose 5-0. LOL. City will probably beat Villa like 5-0 so I'm hoping Sam and West Ham defend resolutely and only lose 1-0.

As we still have an outside chance of winning the title I hope we put out our strongest possible team. I remember Carlo threw in some youngsters in 2011 and we nearly dropped to 3rd. We need to keep winning and hope Palace beat Liverpool (possible) and Viila or West Ham beat City (highly unlikely, but then they lost to Wigan)

Hi everyone here, its my pleasure to post my comment for d very 1st time. I'm a die-hard chelsea fan since mid 90's, but most often enjoy reading ya comments. While i miss many old timers like Lukamolski, FrLamp etc i really enjoy well thought comments from Gabe U for example; while members such as @mq, f_v, et al really beef me up. However without d so called negativity i think d fraternity 'll b boring. Cheers everyone!

Azpi given a much needed break. Hazard on bench, due to wednesday's performance and not yet fully fit. Decent line up. Let's get the job done. #COYB #upthechels

Smh!! Expected reaction on Hazard above. Also cue for media to go into overdrive on Hazard departure rumors. Silly season here we come.
