One Centre Back Out and Another In?

The media, now that David Luiz is destined for the history books as far as Chelsea Football Club goes, are hooking us up with a bid for another centre-back.

Apparently, those good folk over at the Metro seem convinced that Jose Mourinho is set to go back to his former club to bring Raphale Varane to Stamford Bridge.

Varane is a top prospect and aged 21 has his football career ahead of him, but will he be heading our way?

Carlo will never let Varane go, he likes having young players like that who he can easily develop into world class stars. Jose should make a Varane out of Omerou, Kalas or Zouma, move Iva to CB, let Azpi be our first choice RB and get a quality LB.

As much as I love Varane and sees him as a quality young CB, his signing will undermine the youngsters we have at the club. Cahill, John Terry, Kurt Zouma, Ivanovic. That's four CBs to choose from, plus the promising Christensen, I see Omeruo going on another loan. We need to spend that money on a quality, young LB, a deep lying playmaker to compliment Matic and makes our miidfield tick, plus a world class striker, and we are good to go for next season #KTBFFH

Chalobah can also play CB and Alex Davey is another promising solid CB.... We don't need Varane...

This is the position where we have virtually no problem. We are well stocked. No CB needed.

Its a waste of resources 2 buy Varane as he 'll not b an automatic 1st choice ahead of Terry, Cahill & Ivanovic. At most he 'll just see some game time or start in COC matches, dis cover can b adequately provided by Kalas, Omeruo or Zouma. Strengthening should b in these areas: LB, CM/DLP, & CF.

Besides Zinedine Zidane was d one who brought Varane 2 Madrid during Mourinho's time. He is still there as Asst. Manager & 've just won Champions league, so i dont see his motivation in leaving d comfort of his idol & countryman 2 come & b a squad player in CFC dat practically 've abundance in his position. I don't c dis deal happening exept he 'll b given an assurance of 1st team football & higher wages.

ST & DLP are key positions...then comes the LB...we are well stocked in other positions.
