Moreno Hopes Fading!

Moreno Hopes Fading!

Previously, Chelsea, in the aftermath of Ashley Cole`s decision to move on, have been linked with the Seville left-back Albert Moreno.

However, news reports this morning intimate that the chase could be all but lost.

Having been left out of the Spanish World Cup squad, it is being reported that our friends (in the loosest possible sense) up at Anfield, Liverpool, are almost on the verge of tying up a deal.

Apparently, a fee of £16.2 million has been muted and Moreno is set to become part of the Spanish dynasty that has been through the Anfield entrance.

Could it be time to look elsewhere or was our interest in Moreno all media generated?

I hope we dont sign Shaw...he is overrated...I would go with Bertrand, PVA & Dave if we could not sign Felipe Luiz.

We were never that serious about him. He's had an above average season, though very talented and has lots of potential to improve. I think Felipe Luis has been first choice for us but these are all as per media reports.
