'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Congratulations Oscar!

Something almost slipped under the radar!

It would appear that our Brazilian midfielder, Oscar, was excused form the Brazilian World Cup squad recently, to attend a life-changing event.

The 22 year-old Brazilian was on hand to witness the birth of his first child, a girl named Julia.

Oscar has now returned to the Brazilian training camp and is expected to resume his international career in the friendly international against Serbia.

Speaking about becoming a dad, ahead of the World Cup, Oscar has remarked,

"I`m very glad she has come at this time."

"Now to play my first World Cup will be so exciting."

I`m sure you`ll all join me in offering Oscar our congratulations on achieving another milestone in life.
