Mandzukic Wants to Leave Bayern

Mandzukic Wants to Leave Bayern

I`d hazard a guess, this summer, Chelsea will be bringing more than just the one new striker into the squad.

I`m fairly confident that we`ll see Eto`o and Ba depart on a permanent basis whilst Lukaku may be sent off on loan (again) whilst we wait and see if he can really cut the mustard at the top level.

Already we`re being heavily linked with a move for the Atletico Madrid striker, Diego Costa, in a move that many view as having been a done deal for a few weeks.

However, the recent admission from Mario Mandzukic that he wants to leave Bayern Munich could see Chelsea involved in a tussle, with Arsenal, to bring the Croatian striker to the Premier League.

Discussing his desire to leave Bavaria, Madzukic has openly admitted,

"I think it is fine that I was frank with the club."

"I do not correspond with the style of game that Guardiola wants to play."

I guess you can`t argue about his honesty although with two years left on his current contract he`ll not come cheap!

Lukaku should stay, we paid lot of money and he done nothing for us he should stay & enjoy his football with chelsea next season.. I would prefer a.sanchez than having mandzukic in our team

Sanchez any time. He's more versatile coz he can play on both wings or centrally, good technique, relatively young etc. Mario Mandzukic is a no.

So he'd be willing to swap Bayern's bench for ours?

If Lukaku leaves on Loan to At.Madrid, Get Manduzic....Costa, Manduzic, Torres will be enough....Next year, Loan torres to At.Madrid & get Lukaku back.

No point in signing madzukic and loaning out lukaku, in a few years lukaku is going to be better than madzukic and beside would he swap bayern bench for ours because costa is going to be the first choice striker

3 strikers can't function in a team whose lineup is to field one striker.

loaning lukaku and buying mandzukic makes no iota of sense to me. Neither will i suggest a strikeforce of costa-lukaku-mario. i would rather have the third striker as one with more grace and finesse on the ball who can play in tight spaces. I wouldn't mind the firmino lad

Kaku on this matter i vehemently disagree with you. It will be career suicide for Jose to go into the new season with only 2 strikers (call them goal scoring forwards or goal scorers if you prefer) in our 25 man squad. It will be just as dangerous if he has a squad of 3 strikers and one of those is El Nino because anything he will bring from a strikers dept will be a bonus. Let us just cast a mind back as to who won the BPL and who was second ..what do they have in common again? The only team among the elite in Europe who achieved anything of note playing with one striker consistently in their starting line up was Bayern Munich and that was because of having goals pouring in from the likes of the Roberry connection, Goetze and Muller. Whatever purists say Real essentially played with 2-3 strikers at a time (Ronaldo and Bale are goal scorers of the highest order..to call them wingers is just to fool oneself). Atletico often played a 4-4-2 with Costa and Villa on the pitch simoultaneously when fit, we all know how PSG lined up with Cavani and Ibra + Lavezzi etc etc and Juve had 5 strikers that rotated with at least two always on the pitch (mostly Carlitoz Tevez and LLorente) I sincerely hope Jose has learnt his lesson after last season.

After the world cup. Let him have his wish of walking into a Top Team as the Numero Uno Striker without competing with other strikers.
