Drogba Dream Over!

Drogba Dream Over!

Earlier this week speculation was doing the rounds that Chelsea, through Jose Mourinho, were trying to hook up again with the legend that is Didier Drogba.

The news was met with a mixed response from the Vital Chelsea faithful with some seeing Drogba as a good addition to the coaching staff but not coming back as a player.

Well it seems any chance of Drogba returning to Stamford Bridge has ended with the Italian news source, Tuttosport, implying the 36 year-old Ivorian has signed a two year deal with the Italian giants, Juventus.

Don't want him back as one of our 1st 2 striking options, but as a player coach, with a permanent bench seat & available to come on with 15 to 20 minutes remaining, yes I'll take him. No one better at holding the ball up or defending the 6 yard box at set pieces, but relying on 36 year old legs to come on & get us a goal- no, that's a job for Lukaku surely.
