Mourinho Laments Portuguese Record!

Mourinho Laments Portuguese Record!

It has always been intimated that, one-day, Jose Mourinho will end up coaching his native Portugal.

The Special One has remarked, in several interviews, he sees his time as a manager coming to an end after he`s fulfilled a desire to lead the Portuguese national team on the world stage.

However, as the 2014 World Cup, in Brazil, rumbles on Jose appears to be as disappointed as us England fans when it comes to his nations opening fixture defeat against a clinical German side.

Pushed by the press, Jose had this to say about Portugal`s demise in that 4-0 thrashing inflicted by Germany,

"Portugal doesn`t get big results against the best teams."

"If I go back to the last European Championships, we lost against Spain, we also lost against Germany."

"We go back to the last World Cup. We couldn`t score against Brazil. We lost against Spain in South Africa."

"I know the circumstances were difficult, especially playing with 10 players for a long time, but 4-0 is disappointing."

Thankfully, like England, Portugal have a further two fixtures to put matters right but the big question is, will they?

Your thoughts please would be most welcome!

PePe is one infuriating player. ALong with his team mates, he let down his whole nation. Disgraceful and despicable.

It was a beautiful let down by pepe but then the remaining players morale or hopes just crashed as soon as that happened. That is what i think mou meant when he said, '...but 4-0 is dissapointing'. However, with England and Portugal besides having the talents, the both seems to lack the calmness to truimph in the big stages.
