Chelsea Pondering Pogba?

Chelsea Pondering Pogba?

Days after virtually signing himself on for The Pride of London on Football Manager, Chelsea manager wants to really sign the French sensation.

Jose Mourinho Thursday told Chelsea official website he believes that next season will be even harder than last as he doesn't know if Chelsea will finish first or sixth.

And if anyone suspected he was up to what some in this country are wont to call mind games, the Special One according to inside sources is set to leave everyone doubtless as per his intentions of leading the club to finish as champions by preparing the most lucrative package in our history to entice Paul Pogba, the £60m-rated French midfield sensation to Stamford Bridge.

After securing the signature of Cesc Fabregas who it is understood will be the new No.10 or central attacking midfielder in his new look Chelsea set-up, the Portuguese coach reportedly sees the 21-year-old former Manchester United prodigy as the perfect partner for Nemanja Matic in the heart of our midfield.

But hey, don't you go a celebrating just yet, as Italian news sources are adamant Juventus do not want to sell at any price with the Italian champions' General Manager Giuseppe Marotta having last month quipped: "We intend to extend Pogba's contract and we have already spoken with his agent. Paul is a smart guy and this is the perfect place for him to improve further. You cannot imagine him leaving Juventus."

However, it is popularly believed within Serie A circles that when the recent history of Italian football is put into perspective, everyone has their price; and that were Chelsea to meet Juventus' asking price, there's simply no feasible way the Turin club will balk at a deal.

So folks, what have you been pondering all along? Could this signal the beginning of the end of a certain John Obi Mikel at Chelsea? Would you rather the cheaper and more experienced campaigner in the form of Toni Kroos

To Pogba or not to Pogba?

I would rather he money spent on Falcao as its being reported that RM are backing out of a deal because Ronaldo dosnt like the idea lol
27/06/2014 11:08:00
well if thisis true I would be very very happy! Pogba has everything in his locker to be the best CM in world football in his prime years! the boy is fantasic to watch and if we had a 3 of matic, pogba and fabregas that would just be silly stupid!stories have been going round all week to about we are very close to signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang which would be another fantastic striker signing to go along with Costa as there are totally different and I could see costa giving a defense a working over then Aubameyang coming on for 20/25 minutes and scaring the defenders to death with his pace! I don't think I have een many players with such sheer pace as Aubameyang! he really is like sh** off a shovel. If we sign Costa,Filipe,Aubameyang,Pogba along wih Fabregas then Christ we will be some force next season. Oh add courtios to that list also! wow
27/06/2014 11:25:00
No idea what will happen. fabregas in itself was a surprise signing. Only Jose what he's thinking.
27/06/2014 11:38:00
Not untill we ship out Mikel & Ramires out.
27/06/2014 11:49:00
Except we offer them either of Ramires or Mikel or both in an effort to beat the price down, we would be foolhardy to offer to pay up to 70m for this kid. would be better if we get Kroos instead or Khedira.
27/06/2014 11:57:00
Looks like Aubamyeng is on his way to chelsea!!!
27/06/2014 12:03:00
so, with Costa, Manduzic/ gonna be bye-bye to Lukaku
27/06/2014 12:04:00
There you go.

The ammount quoted is too expensive for a 21yr old rather we should look inwards into our academy & bring up one. Moreover he is going to stifle the devt of Nath. Chalobah who has similar characteristics or attributes of Pogba if given proper chance to succeed. Why spend that much when we can have for free? Just get Thiago on free transfer for his experience & probably keep Mikel as squad player for Chalobah to learn from the duo as well as Matic; Cesc & Ramires can also be deployed in that CM in some games. I don't think that is our priority for now rather spend the money where we badly need strengthening.

Goal is the source of the Pogba rumour, I don't trust them. How good is Aubameyang? would prefer that Icardi dude.
27/06/2014 12:28:00
If i can recall very well, Pogba was in United under Fergie less than Chalobah's age. He rebelled following lack of first team football & moved to Juve where it was granted. We have some talented, cool headed & disciplined set of youngsters. Who say that Chalobah will not succeed if he does what Pogba di, & who say that he will be short of suitors afterall. Apart from Chalobah we also have Ruben Loftus-Cheek coming up. These guys should be groomed to take over from Matic eeet al. And what about Marco Van Ginkel last year Dutch player of the year, & elsewhere it is reported that Andreas Christensen hsa snubbed loan move to Sunderland & set to stay on 7 fight for his place. So there you have it, we need more of our academy products to begin their step up & given proper chance as this will instill more confidence on the upcoming ones. Pogba doesn't bleed blue & why would anyone think that he could not be disruptive in this star studded Chelsea side if his game time is reduced due to form or competition? And who say that he wouldn't behave the same way as in United if should such happen? SO, NO TO POGBA!!!

Ircadi will take Terry's wife if he joins Chelsea. Other than that he's good.
27/06/2014 12:46:00
Chelsea youth players will have to find other clubs. They will not play for Chelsea. It's the norm.
27/06/2014 12:51:00
that is not true.....pogba will stay at juve this summer! PSG will get him next season! Jose doesnt even want pogba...just media bull*****
27/06/2014 12:59:00
For me pogba will be nice to see along matic. Let just wait to see

Toni Kroos would be a far better option.
27/06/2014 13:27:00
mikel + rami + torres + Ba would be enough for pogba i think so...juve will get 4 player for 1...good for both side..
27/06/2014 13:34:00
What a day. Adam Lallana to Liverpool is picking up pace, according to the Telegraph. £25m is the rumoured fee. #LFC
