Days after virtually signing himself on for The Pride of London on Football Manager, Chelsea manager wants to really sign the French sensation.
Jose Mourinho Thursday told Chelsea official website he believes that next season will be even harder than last as he doesn't know if Chelsea will finish first or sixth.
And if anyone suspected he was up to what some in this country are wont to call mind games, the Special One according to inside sources is set to leave everyone doubtless as per his intentions of leading the club to finish as champions by preparing the most lucrative package in our history to entice Paul Pogba, the £60m-rated French midfield sensation to Stamford Bridge.
After securing the signature of Cesc Fabregas who it is understood will be the new No.10 or central attacking midfielder in his new look Chelsea set-up, the Portuguese coach reportedly sees the 21-year-old former Manchester United prodigy as the perfect partner for Nemanja Matic in the heart of our midfield.
But hey, don't you go a celebrating just yet, as Italian news sources are adamant Juventus do not want to sell at any price with the Italian champions' General Manager Giuseppe Marotta having last month quipped: "We intend to extend Pogba's contract and we have already spoken with his agent. Paul is a smart guy and this is the perfect place for him to improve further. You cannot imagine him leaving Juventus."
However, it is popularly believed within Serie A circles that when the recent history of Italian football is put into perspective, everyone has their price; and that were Chelsea to meet Juventus' asking price, there's simply no feasible way the Turin club will balk at a deal.
So folks, what have you been pondering all along? Could this signal the beginning of the end of a certain John Obi Mikel at Chelsea? Would you rather the cheaper and more experienced campaigner in the form of Toni Kroos
To Pogba or not to Pogba?
