'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lampard`s Global Trip!

No longer employed by Chelsea Football Club with his contract now expired the press seem pretty convinced as to where Frank Lampard is heading next.

It would appear that before Lampard, ahead of his move to the MLS side New York City is going to spend some time down under.

It`s being suggested that Frank will join up with another former Chelsea player, Damien Duff, at Melbourne City.

Foundation is given to this rumour by the fact that Mark Schwarzer has somewhat spilled the beans by recalling a conversation he had with Frank whereby Frank asked what Melbourne was like with Schwarzer remarking to the media,

"He asked what Melbourne was like and I said Sydney was the best place to live."

"But I spoke very highly of Melbourne."

"I actually love Melbourne a lot. It`s a great city. I said he would love living there."

So there you go, globe-trotter Frank embarking on the next stage of his career but with our very best wishes.

Paper speculation. He hasn't signed any deal. Probably will go to NY but nothing is official yet.

It could be fun for Lamps. Both New York City FC and Melbourne City FC is owned by Man City owners. And MLS season kicks off only in March 2015. So makes sense to play on loan down under, stay sharp before making the move to the Big Apple.
