The Big Evening Rumour (14th July)

The Big Evening Rumour (14th July)

Its Bastille Day is it not?

Then what better way to start our new series than to bring to you the news that a certain Edinson Cavani want out of French football!

Cavani is unhappy with life in the French capital fearing the infamous French guillotine has harmed his chances of playing as a natural striker.

Seemingly the PSG boss, Laurent Blanc, had intimated that a rotation policy would exist in future but now this looks increasingly unlikely its being reported that Cavani has instructed his agent to set sail, away from the French capital, to the Premier League.

Naturally, two clubs (as is always the case in gossip like this) are mentioned - Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, did the ship setting sail for the Thames leave before Cavani expressed this desire to eat more sumptuous cake with Diego Costa on board?

If so, then will the Red devils take this fleeing infidel?

The floor is all yours!

who cares about cavani now....he is feeling jealous i think so that suarez went for 75 million thats why all this drama...the way psg are buying players they will take over fifa playstation one day in the future...i think french league should declare psg as the champion before the start of the season and the rest should play for the second place...
14/07/2014 18:51:00
Who tha hell is Cavani again ?????????????????
14/07/2014 18:55:00
Cavani has stuffed himself the same way Torres has, too expensive on transfer and wages. Would still like him though. He needs a venture where he can get his teeth into (no Saurez pun intended LOL!), PSG obviously does not float his boat. With a new direction, he could revert to his former form, unlike Torres.

No hulk rumours? Not a transfer window without a hulk rumour.
14/07/2014 19:07:00
The summary of Cavanis value is shown in his performances for Uruguay when Suarez was suspended and his performances against top notch competition for PSG when Ibra was injured. In both cases he was anonymous. The guy is just a money chasing mercenary. We should certainly have nothing to do with this fella. If ManU are crazy enough to spend a fortune to get him from PSG thats up to them..we should be smarter than that. For me retaining Lukaku , selling Ba and somehow finding a way to release El Nino or keeping him virtually bench bound and then getting someone like PEA (Pierre emery Aubemyang) or Firmino is the way to go
14/07/2014 19:09:00
He will not be cheap so let United take a gamble on him ,besides it will knock Rooney's nose out of joint .

we should buy fred and jo to give some competition to that he will get some boost that it's not end of the world and miracles happen & there are worse striker in this world than him...i hope that will give his self confidence back...

Lol I am liking shlok lately. And no to Cavani. He had his chance, but according to him "chelsea did not do enough" to employ his services. Now he expects us to bail his ass out of being unhappy. Don't get me wrong a player should try to make as much money as possible and be a mercenary, but there are limitations. He wanted to go there and play for PGA now let him dig himself out instead of relying on our former interest in him.

I don't see cavani moving, i believe he's only trying to get some kind of assurances from psg. He has found it pretty difficult to upstage Ibra and had to make do with coming from the flanks. Though he can send his agent all he likes but we won't consider him one bit. We have our marquee striker now and his name is Diego Costa boyy!
14/07/2014 19:41:00
Does anyone know what PSG pays him a week?
14/07/2014 19:49:00
Costa is that marquee CF. Cavani's never gonna happen. If Lukaku is loaned out again or sold and Ba leaves for China, it will be wise to get a different kind of CF like Firmino or Mauro Icardi.
14/07/2014 20:16:00
I don't see United getting him with RVP, Rooney and Welbeck all staying. Maybe Liverpool, as all they do these days is to buy CFs.
14/07/2014 20:19:00
you don't think costa is a marquee CF? @samex
14/07/2014 20:22:00
We need to retain Lukaku as No.2 or find a someone less flashier. Cavani will be too expensive. With Costa on board, this looks a non starter.
14/07/2014 20:27:00
schlok , by your argument...Chelsea should sign shlok27
14/07/2014 20:50:00
Sources close to Real Sociedad say that Chelsea are close to signing Antoine Griezmann.

Chelsea could be hijacking Arsenal's Khedira deal

Agent_Edward 18h Breaking news: Angel Di Maria's transfer to PSG is done deal. Fee around €58m #psg. This guts are certainly not taking FFP serious..
