Lukaku - Heading Back to Everton?

Rumours are rife that the Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku, is heading back to Goodison Park.

The 21 year-old Belgian striker spent last season on loan with Roberto Marrtinez side and notched up 15 goals.

Yesterday rumours spread, via the social media network, Everton had instructed staff in their merchandise shop to prepare numerous shirts with Lukaku`s name emblazoned on the back.

However, there does appear to be one point up for discussion. With Chelsea having, reportedly turned down a large bid from Liverpool for the player, it remains to be seen whether the new deal with Everton is a season long loan or a permanent deal.

One tabloid, covering the developing story, is of the opinion that Roberto Martinez is set to blow most of his transfer budget on a permanent deal.

We`ll endeavour to keep you informed of any developments.

I'll rather he signs a new deal and stays at CFC... Lukaku, patience is the key to greatness bro, try and be patient maybe this might be ur year!

His heart is not at Chelsea anyways so he'd rather go but i don't think Everton are in a strong financial position to buy him. I'd also prefer if he goes abroad. New links to Real madrid are rife to replace the soon-to-depart Moratta.

Juve rumours too. I wish we could use him as a bargaining tool to get Pogba. Lukaku plus 20 million for Pogba is sweet business if it would happen. In fact if they agree, we'll give them Mikel for free.

Well this is the latest rumor in this saga. And the club or Jose are yet to utter a word on the subject. Absurd really.

I don't see how it makes sense saying lukaku plus 20mil for pogba. Lukaku is bpl proven for 2seasons with close to 30goals while pogba had just proven himself for just a season and @botum you suggest we do a deal as this? Whoever said lukaku doesn't even have more potential than the so-called pogba?? which is what we are playing for anyways cue potential

And for lukaku he has spoken so much, looks to have disrespected the club with some comments to the extent that jose and the board are in no rush to discuss his matter nor will they treat his issue specially. He deserves the unrest at the least.

At this point i could care less. Just find some club abroad to sell him to and lets gets a quality second striker to compliment Costa ASAP. I for one have heard quite enough about this brat. We need a team of men in body and in mind..there are options out there.

King Ronaldo? The Brazilian Ronaldo? Of course Ronaldo is king of strikers.

If we sell Lukaku without giving the boy a fair chance, then no young player is ever going to break through into our 1st team regardless of how good they are or they might become. All of our U21s might as well look for other clubs to play for tomorrow. If we had retained Lukaku last season, as opposed to putting him out on loan, we would have won the premier league. Shame on Chelsea.
