Omeruo Returning to Boro!

Omeruo Returning to Boro!

Although he started in every World Cup game for Nigeria, it seems that the football education for Kenneth Omeruo will continue away from Stamford Bridge.

It`s being widely touted that the 20 year-old, who spent the second half of last season at the Riverside Stadium, with Middlesbrough, making 14 appearances in the process, is returning to the Teeside club for a second loan spell.

Talking about his impending return the centre-back is quoted as having remarked,

'I decided to return to Boro because I really enjoyed my last loan there and working with the manager Aitor Karanka."

'I like the atmosphere at Middlesbrough, the players and fans too are very supportive. It's such an easy choice to make and a key factor in going there is the chance to play first-team football.'

Here at Vital Chelsea we wish him well in his second spell at Middlesbrough.

You can get first team football in other places boy! I am so not cool with the destination of his loan. This is a loan born out of acquaintances rather than intention for the lad to step up i feel. I wish him the best but not happy.

All the best to him First Kalas and now Omeruo loaned out. I would be disappointed if we didn't retain Zouma now and instead go and buy another CB.

Its crazy of chelsea to loan Omeruo to Boro of all places.....haba JM! He is far more ready and better than Zouma.

I don't blame the poor boy... He said it all, "a key factor in going there is the chance to play first-team football." It's better he goes to Boro than go to an EPL club only to waste on the bench... Maybe Boro is the only club willing to guarantee him regular football. Nothing wrong with going to Boro, as long as he's playing regularly...

Yes, it will be disappointing to buy a CB this season. We have 3 top class CBs and 1 young CB. They must be more than sufficient for us.

There's a lot wrong in playing in Boro @Latunvic, This is a young lad who has played in two good tournaments (AFCON & WC) and has stood his ground. Yes chelsea might still doubt him but if he really wants to prove he is ready to play for us, then the best place would have been staying in the BPL or nay other top league and forcing his way in the team he finds himself. That is what will catch the eyes of those in the club's hierarchy.
