Marin Heading Off On Loan Again!

Marin Heading Off On Loan Again!

Anyone pondering over what the future might hold for Marko Marin may want to read on.

The 25 year-old, who was signed from Werder Bremen for £6.5 million looks destined to join Demba Ba in Turkish football.

Reports suggest that the player, who has spent last season on loan at Sevlle and who has made just 6 senior appearances since moving to Stamford Bridge, will be spending this season at Besiktas.

Talking about acquiring his services the Besiktas president Fikret Orman has remarked in the media,

"We are in talks with Marin. We could sign him or go for a name who we haven`t been linked with yet."

With Marin having hardly featured for Chelsea, would it not be better to simply find a club willing to take him on a permanent basis and then pocket the transfer fee?

A very strange purchase and certainy not one for Mourinho type of play. We should have sold him even with a loss as he has no playing value to the club.

Loaning him makes no sense. He is nowhere near the first team. Permanent sale would have been more preferable. One of the more bewildering transfers, that never took off.
