Excited by Fabregas!

Excited by Fabregas!

With the Chelsea career of Frank Lampard now confined to the history books, with our record scorer now employed by New York City, it`ll certainly be interesting to see how Cesc Fabregas adapts to life in a Chelsea shirt.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona player certainly has the pedigree to be a success and his style of play should enable Chelsea to add another dimension to their game.

As Chelsea continue their European tour, Jose Mourinho has spoken about his midfield signing, remarking to the journalists that hang on to his every word,

"From mid-season we felt the team needed surgery, so we made a very early decision to go and attack points where we needed a real improvement."

"We clearly needed a midfielder with a different football profile and we had two or three options. But my club was fantastic in getting Fabregas."

"Fabregas is a player of control. He wants the ball, he needs the ball. I told him what I want from him, explained what was waiting for him."

Although Fabregas never enjoyed the best of times at Barcelona, often played out of position, are we about to witness the return to form, here at Chelsea, of the man who made Arsenal tick?

Please feel free to discuss.

Fabregas is the real deal and i am very sure we have the best midifeld in EPL now. Morinho should jes establish him like xavi to Bercelona mode of play. pair him with Matic..

my issue with the Fabregas deal is that he is the only one of His kind at chelsea; no back up. God forbid, if he gets injured, suspended or rested, we are screwed as teams will now employ 'two busses' against us...

We have been competing at a very high level that fabregas himself can testify too. Howbeit if he gets injured we will be screwed huh?? We were just four points away from the title last season without fab remember?? @Ikdaniels
