Linked to Real Madrid?

With Didier Drogba having re-signed for Chelsea, albeit on a one year-deal; speculation is rife that one of either Fernando Torres of Romelu Lukaku could be heading for the exit at Stamford Bridge.

One rumour that has just sprung to light throws up an interesting inference.

Apparently, over at Real Madrid, a certain Carlo Ancelotti is looking to make an addition to his strike force. With Real Madrid having sold Alvaro Morata to Juventus, the inference is that Ancelotti is interested in bringing Romelu Lukaku to the Bernabeu.

If so, we`d imagine that Chelsea would seek a permanent deal to bring in a cash sum that could be invested elsewhere. Also, with Romelu and his agent not being short of a few things to say about his career and his abilities, we`re imagining the grapevine will become very active over the next 48 hours.

This rumour has been under water for some time. I got this story some three weeks back but it wasn't as serious but i expect it to fuel-up because Morrata has been sold by Madrid.

If Lukaku won't sign a contract extension then we shud sell.. But if he's willing to fight off competition in the CFC squad to become no. 2 this season then no need to sell.

Imagine,he isn't good enough as second choice for chelsea but he will be good as second choice for Madrid right? For no reason should we sell lukaku,if we give the guy enough confidence and chance as second choice he will sign a new contract, funny how people want us to sign a 25 year old bony who score 16 goals in 34 league games and sell a 21 year lukaku who scored 15 goals in 31 league games..for no reason should we sell lukaku and keep torres...lukaku as second choice for chelsea would score more than the 5 goals torres scored as first choice for chelsea last season

it looks Lukaku does not want to be second choice for Us, he wants first team football, week in, week out. Will He accept to stay on the bench at real Madrid? Lets watch. @Magic-quill or whatever is your username, are you comparing Costa, Toress, Drogba to only Benzema???? I bet torress is even better than that Benzema guy... In the strikers department, we are better off than Real Madrid ATM

Lukaku to RealMadrid ?? C'mon, we all know that ain't gonna happen especially not with the way Perez being spending lately... Are the Cavani's n Falcao's of this world done yet ??? If Lukaku can't fight for his chances at Chelsea, what makes him think RealMadrid gonna be a better place ???

Anyways, it all depends on Lukaku and the decision makers at Chelsea... If Lukaku wants to stay & fight as our second choice CF, then let him stay... If he doesn't, I'm pretty sure we would cash in on him real good....

The only thing worse than somebody suggesting that Lukaku is good enough to play at Chelsea, is that are suckers out there who would believe that a club like RM would even entertain the thought. Of course, let us all be reminded that a certain French club paid a world record fee for a certain error prone defender, so stranger things have happened. But common sense would tell anyone that this rumour is rubbish. If your common sense *isn't* hinting that to you, there may be a problem...

Hazard: Conveniently you don't count the other goals that Bony scored. He scored 25 goals last season for Swansea. His supporting cast were of weaker quality than Lukaku's.

(lukaku as second choice for chelsea would score more than the 5 goals torres scored as first choice for chelsea last season) Torres also scored 5 goals in ten matches in the Champions League. Just because Lukaku scored goals for Everton doesn't guarantee that he will score for Chelsea.

So if the club gets rid of lukaku then say worst case scenario costa gets hurt. We will have to rely on Torres who can't score and is done. And a 36 yr. old drogba who is also done. My word!!!
