Mourinho Rap for Referee!

It might only have been a friendly, our 3-0 defeat to Werder Bremen, but something got Jose Mourinho all het up!

Last season Jose picked up a couple of fines for 'stray` comments and it would appear already that he`s not a happy chap.

Following on from the 3-0 loss to the mid-table Bundesliga side, Jose had this to say about the referee, plus a few other topics that irked him, with the Special One remarking,

"I have learned sometimes a friendly is not a friendly after the way the red behaved like this one did."

"But we cannot deny our first half was poor. We travelled this morning."

"We had a bus to the airport in Holland then we had to travel one hour in the plane - and when we arrived we had to go again in the bus. The players were feeling that."

"The reaction in the second half was better. The pace was much better. The creativity of Eden Hazard brought us something different."

"We tried to equalize but there was a ridiculous penalty when everybody - even 100 metres away - saw that Nathan Ake touched the ball."

"But the ref chose to give it and complete his job in this beautiful party."

Don`t you just love the man!

Not a care in the world!

Oriol Romeu has today (Monday) joined Stuttgart on a season-long loan. The midfielder, 22, who recently signed a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge, heads to the German top flight. The Spaniard moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2011 from Barcelona, and has so far made 33 Chelsea appearances. He spent last season on loan at Valencia.

Romeu on loan? So we now have Mikel, MvG, Ramires, Matic and Fabregas for the pivot. Still well stocked.

@Seabourch, yes indeed. Our squad still needs some trimming in line with EPL and UEFA homegrown rules
