Everyone`s Back

As the new season fast approaches, Chelsea now have a full squad back in preparation for the opening fixture, away to Burnley on Monday 18th August.

The last of the stragglers returned for pre-season training, at Cobham yesterday, with the Brazilian trio of Ramires, Willian and Oscar doing their best to run the disappointment of crashing out at the semi-final stage of the World Cup out of their legs.

The trio was joined by Andre Schurrle who, not surprisingly, had a huge smile across his face as he reveled in the acclaim of being a World Cup winner.

Cesar Azpilicueta was also visible, doing some light training, but the remainder of the squad, having returned from the European Tour; were not visible in the pictures broadcast by Chelsea TV.

Returning to that first fixture, the trip to Burnley on a Monday evening, it would appear that the moving of the fixture hasn`t affected ticket sales with the allocation given to Chelsea selling out.

We also understand that the club special, put on by the club, has also nearly sold-out!

The new season, it finally seems, isn`t too far away!

Bring it on!

get Remy for me please, find a way to do away with Torres and we will be good to go...

Sure, Chelsea will get Remy for you. Anything else ?

I doubt the latest arrivals would be fit enough to make the starting XI against Burnley. But it's good the whole group is back a full 2 weeks ahead of the season opener. #upthechels #ktbffh

I would expect the latest players to be groomed slowly into the team. Hence wouldn't be surprise not to see some names in the starter's list against burnley. To avoid ranting, everyone should please keep this in mind.

This season is going to be a revelation in many ways. We'll see exciting Boga, Ake, Christensen and Baker make a number of appearances in FA and League cups plus EPL en route to being crowned as champions. We'll for the eggs time since 2010 have a top scorer's golden boot in blue's number 19 as well as player of the year and young player of the year awards to Chelsea's number 10. It will be exciting to see how we are going to terrorise defenses this season. I am genuinely excited.

Boga, ake, christensen and baker making appearances in the epl??? That's wishful thinking, I'd be surprised if they even make the bench, let alone starting.
oscarr
@oscarr, Kalas played a full game against Liverpool last season. Just wait and see. I'd rather be hopeful (is that what you call wishful thinking? Whatever!) coz i know just as Jose also recognises that these boys are good enough to make appearances in some games in the course of the season.

^Why don't you hold yourself, when it comes to Jose, to the same standards you have put on other fans when it comes to Mikel?

EASY! EASY!! EASY!!! PAUSE! It is not time to jubilate yet (though i love the positive atmosphere here), because this season is going to be more competitive than every other season has been. Every team has gotten polish and still polishing , getting ready to clinch to the title. I hope we do double (PL&CL), though it won't be easy. KTBFFH
