That Old Thing Called Dress Sense

I have to admit my interest in keeping up with fashion has long gone.

The days of me being a 'soccer casual` are merely just fond memories now, blown into the past by the sands of time.

Circumstances, as I`ve grown older, have dictated that fashion is lower down the order of priorities than several more dominating things.

However, with a 21 year-old son keen to wear the latest gear I can recognise when somebody is up with the times or simply developing their own style.

Now the media always seem to show an interest in the lavish lifestyle footballers have and it`s no surprise that the players` of today dress extravagantly when you consider the huge sums of money they earn.

But it seems that dress sense isn`t something that our Belgian star Eden Hazard possesses with his team-mate Willian remarking to the media,

'He wears red trainers with a yellow shirt. He doesn't care.'

To which my reply would be,

If I had Hazard`s money and his talent, I think I`d dress exactly how I want to, how about you?

I like me clothes and te Mrs says I spend too much on Stone Island/Prada/Armani/Paul Smith and a rack of Lacoste polos but if Hazard wants to wear a neck beard wear pink fluffy flip flops and a gimp mask he should go for it. Hes Hazard, hes ours and he scares defenders. And when his bruv comes back I hope we have 2 Hazards wearing Blue.

LOL red and yellow is a terrible mix.... he would look like a clown or a fast food restaurant waiter..... although the colours go with his name because I think red and yellow are the signs of hazardous things or animals in the wild nature

As far as he does well on the pitch, I'm ok. Torres I'm sure would dress better than Him; how did that benefit CFC???

If one with money actually cares about such things, they'll have a gay man or a high maintenance woman (both as a fashion adviser) at their side at all times. To one who isn't so caught up in such things, he'll say "feck all" and do as he chooses. I suspect young Hazard falls into the latter, rather than the former.
