Match Day Moments - Stoke (a)

Match Day Moments - Stoke (a)

This afternoon Chelsea are up in the Potteries taking on Stoke City in a Premier League fixture.

It`s one of those fixtures that has danger written all over it, one of those fixtures that could, quite easily, be a banana-skin.

Stoke City have that effect on people, one minute they can threaten to play teams off the park and one minute they look dire.

It remains to be seen which Stoke turn up today as Chelsea look to edge one game nearer to the 2016 / 2017 Premier League title.

Chelsea currently have a 10-point lead over the chasing pack, if that lead is preserved at the conclusion of the weekends fixtures then it will have been a successful weekend.

As usual we`re inviting you to participate in our Match Day Moments feature where you`re offered the chance to offer your views on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to,

1 - The build-up to the big match.

2 - The starting eleven selected by Antonio Conte.

3 - The action as it happens up in Stoke.

4 - Your thoughts in the immediate period between the final whistle sounding and the match reporting appearing on this site.

Let`s hope we`re all smiles tonight with the 'job done` expression being bandied about.

All three points is what we wish for in this match before this Int'l break. Hoping the boys will come out full of confidence & give one of their best performance of the season. We equally need a bit of everything including luck to see us through this potential banana skin fixture. In their last match against City they packed the bus & got a point. I think they won't sit tight today like City away as they are playing before their home crowd at the Brittania. Anyway where is Fabregas to supply the master key Don Antonio? KTBFFH!!!

Source of the report @Jimmy hope not a hostile reds loving tabloid? Very soon we will hear the line ups as its about 35mins for the first match WBA vs ARS left. More pressure on Wenger as they are trailing 2:1 at the Hawthorn.
Jerry Blues

Yeah confirmed @Jimmy it's on cfc official website that Hazard is missing so Willian & Pedro both start. All other usual suspects start except Fabregas We start on he bench.

More misery on Arsene Wenger, Full-time WBA 3:1ARS at the Hawthorns. Earlier there was a flight carrying "IN ARSENE THEY TRUST" overhead the stadium, all that suddenly changed as the away fans were calling for his head Hmmmmm!!!

Costa need to be careful & steer clear of 2nd yellow, what a needless booking 1:Nil Chelsea. Good feedback Willian.

Anthony Taylor is just promoting thuggery in the name of physicality. They are kicking our boys left, right & center. Latest victims Are Matic & Luiz, so are they are allowed to commit murder before caution? Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeew!!!

Cahill gave away a penalty 1:1 scoreline. Very soft I would say.

What a crook of **** Cahill didn't even touch him. Anthony Taylor is doing everything he can to fu$k us
18/03/2017 15:35:00
What a dive. Joke call....taylor clearly looking to give a pk after the disallowed goal. Diego must be taken off. Right now
Eric Clarkson
18/03/2017 15:36:00
That pen was a. Makeup for the disallowed goal. We barely touch them and it's a foul they foul us nothing given I'm fuming over that pen. These refs doing all that can to keep the league close
18/03/2017 15:37:00
Only now yellow card for that thug Beardsley after kicking Costa. Remember that thug who sometimes during Mou 2nd era wanted to end Hazard's career?
Jerry Blues
18/03/2017 15:38:00
Let's start knocking it about and not get drawn into a kicking match we will get more chances
