Honestly the guy looks good on YouTube buy so does Marin. Two questions though. Why is his right knee always heavily bandaged.? And where did he say he would like to join us?
20/03/2017 19:13:00
He is a very good CM exactly the type we want to partner Kante, Matic, Fabregas & Chaloba. He will give us depth, presence, pace, physicallity, surging runs, tackles, good skill sets, good range of passing & the occasional goals like the winner he scored against Man City. With CL matches next season I think we need him to compete effectively on all four fronts. KTBFFH!!!

We need to get our purchases , bcos next season will be very tough. There won't be room for slack performances. I pray all our inclusions hit the ground running.
20/03/2017 19:48:00
Need to get our purchases right
20/03/2017 19:49:00
Watched him closely in the two games against City and I have to say, he was the least impressive player in the Monico team. He seemed to be a yard off the pace and didn't look great but he did score the equaliser to win the tie. He's a big man but I wasn't impressed. Who did look fantastic in the game against Lyon was Rudiger of Roma, very cool on the ball, good distribution and a great tackler, now he would be a good signing for the left Centre Back role.
20/03/2017 21:04:00
if we are to sign a defender I would prefer Rudiger. central midfielder I have no idea who fits but I don't think it us Baka.
20/03/2017 21:12:00
I'm not sure we need him. Not a bad player, just that we don't need more young talents or prospects, we have many already that aren't getting game time. He's not better than Kante or Matic, therefore cannot displace any of these two. Right now we have Kante, Matic, Cesc and Chalobah for just 2 midfield positions. Lewis Baker is also doing good and may join the team. Bakayoko is a DM and will have to compete with Kante for game time; that's a tall order. If we have money to spend on a midfielder we should go for established ones like Vidal or Verratti.
20/03/2017 21:28:00
Also, I'm not convinced he is any better than Chalobah, so I'll rather we give Chalobah a chance to develop than spend money on Bakayoko.
20/03/2017 21:34:00
If anything at all, the sort of midfielder we need isn't one in the mould of Kante. we need a midfielder that combines the energy and power of matic and the passing and vision of Fabregaz. Verratti or vidal. Actually I don't think we need players in that area. we should be sorting out the costa role and Cahill.

Honestly, i just do not think he is intelligent enough. Possess the physicality, strentgh, power and height but his decision making, intelligence and maybe his technicality will need brushing up.
21/03/2017 06:29:00
I belive any player can improve under Conte and being a young player for that matter. Matic is slow and sometimes lazy. Fabregas is not physical and Chalobah is still learning. If this Bakayoko guy is a player in the mould of kante then it's okay for us.
21/03/2017 09:28:00
Agreed @Chistan, share your sentiments 100%.

@THEBREEZE U sure he played both legs of the contest?.IMO he's good enough for the team

He told his agent Dwonder. And who can blame him: with players like Luiz seemingly on their way to the knackers yard and reborn under The Don. Watch a few more Monaco games and you'll see he's already considerably better than Matic and will bring more goals.
21/03/2017 15:11:00
There's no one better than Matic.
21/03/2017 15:49:00
@Aare, He did play in both legs but you might not have noticed because he was *****e.
21/03/2017 15:54:00
Agreed Stan, i have been watching Monaco this season, he is one of their better players, and would be an upgrade on Matic , he is also more physical than any of our mid's .Next season we have the league,CL and domestic cups, we will need more players to compete and that includes fringe players like Chalobah as well .

I don't think we need him when we have 4established players in dat position and we also have Lewis and Pasalic knocking the door. Look at what pasalic did at monaco last year and milan currently
21/03/2017 17:42:00
I'm always feeling sorry for youngsters coming from our academy and saying "I have the dream of playing for Chelsea one day".....I've never seen I sign to dispel my doubts that this club ain't meant for academy graduates,if you are young and making it in another team you can be bought but coming through the academy looks near impossible to me
Aare Anjola?

The only thing I think we need is striker, wright wingback and keeper if begovic leaves. We have Zouma, Ake. Christensen. Kalas. Pasalic. Lewis. Traore who are more dan ready for first team. Give dem chance and they will perform more than ur expectation
