Chelsea Deal for Morata Agreed?

Chelsea Deal for Morata Agreed?

Lurking in the Spanish press this morning is a little something relating to the acquisition of a striker.

Our associates in the Spanish media vehicle, Gol, are not just inferring that Chelsea are interested in this striker but that an agreement has been reached with his club.

The club in question is Real Madrid whilst the striker in question is somebody that has appeared in the same sentence as Chelsea Football Club in many a sentence in recent weeks, one Alvaro Morata

If that is the case then the acquisition of the 24-year-old striker will be a welcome one but what concerns me is that, behind the scenes, has the deal been done on the back of a possible move to the Bernabeu for Eden Hazard?

I`m sure I`m probably not alone in wondering if our jewel-in-the-crown will arrive in Madrid on the back of a part-exchange!

But what are your feeling on the above subject matter?

This Hazard to Madrid rumour refuse to go away even when it's felt too early & unnecessary distraction. Well it's all down to Hazard if he wants to stay or move he should sit down with Conte & bare his mind. I think the Don 'll understand with him & work on his replacement(s). But I wish to see him stay another season & leave after our CL campaign. If the club 'll eventually allow him move with Conte's blessings then I guess Morita plus £150m is the magic number pls. KTBFFH!!!

Jerry i read the price was Morata and 25 mil, now today its all back on the Lukaku train, big Rom allegedly wants to return, but Everton want him to go to United because of the Stones saga(and they can get money plus Rooney from United) . Thats from the usual rags , personally i do not think we will get either one, Everton would rather spit blood than sell to us, Benzema is allegedly leaving so that would change Morata's situation if true, and there seems to be no way Morata would come to SW6 unless he is part of some Hazard deal . If Hazard leaves he is going to have to deal with being behind Ronaldo and Bale on Zidane's pecking order and share joint space with Isco, who is going to sign a new contract .Better off staying here where he is the star .

On the same page with you @Michael, but Morata plus £25m for Hazard is a gross under valuation for me anything less than £100m plus Morata should be rejected as we aren't Tottenham & they must pay our valuation or leave him alone, simple! That makes me feel that they aren't even ready for Hazard yet as there isn't a clear indication which role he could be deployed in. Here Conte structured our attack to suit his strength as the main man even ahead of Costa. In Real it's Ronaldo & am not sure they will disrupt their team chemistry atm & replace Hazard with CR7. So agreed he is better off staying here for a season or two until the coastline is clear pls. KTBFFH!!!

"How come no one is talking about how Costa can be off loaded. This guy has been ust frustrating since January."......Its not a Costa article you know & hence don't comment as its not fact-in-issue; but why not write one about him so we can flock there for contributions pls.

Morata looks a decent payer...pity he'll be added to the endless Chelsea stockpile before being loaned straight back to Spain.
