Conte Shakes It Up Ahead of Spurs Fixture

Conte Shakes It Up Ahead of Spurs Fixture

As Chelsea seek to get back to winning ways this Saturday tea-time, when they face Tottenham Hotspur, at Wembley, in an FA Cup semi-final, it appears that Antonio Conte has shaken things up after the side were comprehensively out-played and beaten by Manchester United last weekend.

According to reports in The Sun, a source close to the club has remarked,

"You can say the players are getting a kick up the backside. Antonio realised some things needed to be changed to refocus the whole group on what is at stake.

"It`s only for the run-up to the Spurs match. After that it`s back to normal."

The article, in our referenced source, suggests that the players have been put through longer and harder training sessions as Conte seeks to get things back on track and reach his first ever FA Cup Final.

The insinuation is also given that in getting back down to business the number of visitors allowed into the world-class Cobham training facility has been restricted.

Let`s hope the result on Saturday reflects the extra effort being put in.
