Chelsea Ready to Ditch Diego Costa?

Chelsea Ready to Ditch Diego Costa?

I`m hazarding a guess that when you`re paid £150,000 a week and somebody comes along and says they`ll pay you £620,000 a week, it can be something that scrambles your brain.

It seems that could be the case with our misfiring striker Diego Costa.

The striker has gone off the boil in recent weeks and although Antonio Conte has stuck by his man, one source is of the opinion that Chelsea, as a club, are starting to lose patience with the striker.

According to the London Evening Standard, Chelsea are edging towards selling ther top-scorer, with Spain being a suggested destination, after Diego Costa made it perfectly clear, after having his head turned by the Chinese Super League, wants a significant increase in his current salary.

However, elsewhere in the media, a different version of event s is being peddled, with the Daily Mail running with an article that implies the Chinese Super League side, Tianjin Quanjian, who tried to sign Diego Costa back in January, are still interested in procuring the striker and are looking at a £620,000- a week net target to lure the player to China.

My, my, my, it must be so hard trying to make £150,000 last a week!

Conte's over reliance on Costa is just as frustrating as Costa's attitude
